I think this product could be improved by tweaking the seasoning. The texture is great, and they were thick and juicy. I let it simmer in mushroom sauce for about 20 minutes and had no issues with dryness. However, I didn't care for the seasoning, something was a little off. Previous reviews mentioned anise, but it does taste similar to italian sausage and it was overpowering...a little spicy. My family ate it, as we don't like to waste food, but I wouldn't purchase again.
