And yet these types of mountains and personal challenges get conquered every day. Some people actually defeat their pain and overcome their challenge, tragedy or difficulty. How? By learning how to reach the summit of victory and not run away or give up. Gary Sinclair is a climber of both mountains of granite and ones that he and his wife Jackie have faced over the years. In fact, one of their toughest personal challenges took them on a climbing journey of cancer that culminated in practical lessons of courage and strength that they not only used on their journey but now offer to you on yours.
In Never Quit Climbing you'll learn how you can tackle even the most formidable peaks that you and/or your family are facing or will encounter someday. Every chapter is practical, containing stories, illustrations and thought-provoking questions and clear steps to help you conquer your citadels. You'll be encouraged by the story of faith, wisdom, hope and community that brought two people through one of the hardest periods of their married life. You'll be encouraged how not to quit, what cautions to take, what equipment to bring along and even how to come down from your mountain after you've reached the top!
Your mountain may be very different than theirs but you'll still discover principles, concepts and practical help that will give you strength, hope and direction to either get started or keep going in the middle of your depression, anxiety, anger, negativity or breakup. Gary is also a motivational speaker, coach and leadership trainer who continues to hike and climb every chance he and his wife get. He has two grown children and six grandsons who all live in the Midwest. He has also written books on marriage and parenting available on Amazon.com as well.
