I was born in Hull and I've loved books from an early age. I read English at The University of Hull before graduating in Social Sciences with The Open University. I'm really pleased that Hull won the U.K. City of Culture 2017 as I saw what it did for Liverpool.
I never thought I'd write poetry. But I was drawn to a book on Haiku in 2014. I started working with this form towards the end of that year. I had 'Hearts of the matter' commended in a National Magazine. Some of my other poems appear in a 2016 International anthology with all proceeds to Rescue animals.
In 2018, I've contributed to the album 'Safe and warm' by 'Musicians for homeless' with a monologue kindly read by the actor Ian Ralph. Please support those less fortunate.
WINNER: November 2019 - 'The Hermit' - Blue Animal Literature @BlueLiterature .
Poetry can be just as weighty as a novel. It's condensed but not watered down. I'm currently working on fiction projects. Short stories and poems have appeared in The Horror Tree: Trembling With Fear, Penumbric Speculative Fiction Magazine, Aphotic Realm, Rune Bear, Detritus, Fiction Kitchen Berlin, The Cabinet of Heed, Nymphs, Spelk, Eerie River, Dodging The Rain, InkPantry, Red Cape Publishing and more.
I hope you enjoy reading the fictions and poems as much as I did shaping them.
Horror Anthologies:
Red Cape Publishing - 'A - Z of Horror': Aliens through to Genies.
Eerie River Publishing
Nocturnal Sirens Publishing
Macabre Ladies

Peter lives with his wife and five children in a small town in Sussex, England. For as long as he can remember it had always been an ambition to complete a novel and, after the success of his debut, The Broken Doll, it has been fantastic to have the opportunity to turn a hobby into a new career. Since the release of The Broken Doll in February 2017, Peter has released the follow-up novel, Shattered Pieces, as well as seven collections of short horror stories, a horror novella, and three children's books. Peter has had work published in numerous anthologies, is the Editor-in-Chief of Indie Writers Review, and is the co-founder of Red Cape Publishing.
Dale Parnell was born and raised in Norwich, and moved to Staffordshire in 1999. He has been writing for almost thirty years, but it wasn’t until 2017 that he self-published his first collection, “The Green Cathedral”, a selection of seven contemporary fantasy short stories.
This was followed by a second collection in 2019, “Bramble and other stories”, this time branching out to include horror and science-fiction as well as fantasy.
Dale’s first foray into poetry came in 2018, when he was fortunate enough to have three pieces accepted for the anthology “Further Within Darkness & Light” from Nothing Books. Since then, Dale has featured in over forty fiction and poetry anthologies from some of the best independent publishers around the world.
In 2022, Dale released his third collection, “Foundations”, featuring a variety of short stories that have been featured in previously published anthologies, along with a brand new, exclusive tale.
Dale lives in Staffordshire with his wife and their imaginary dog, Moriarty. He is currently working on a second science-fiction novella whilst he waits for the first one to be published, and his strangest wish is to find a copy of one his books for sale in a charity shop.

Donovan “Monster” Smith is an author, writer, film producer, director, podcast host, cryptozoologist, and mixed martial artist from Chandler, Arizona.

Chisto is a genre author with an unstoppable imagination who writes 7 days a week and tries to write at least one story or chapter every single day. It's his biggest passion. The only thing that means as much as his writing is being a dad to his awesome kids. He also dabbles in art and music and being an interesting person. His fiance refers to his dog as his other girlfriend. His baby refers to him as urrrrghhaaaa. People that know him share the opinion that he's a little crazy and he doesn't necessarily disagree with them. It makes for good art. He loves hearing from people that enjoy his work. He loves networking and connecting with authors, artists, publishers, agents, and readers. He is living his dream and recommends that you go live yours and be your best self. It's the key to happiness.

Greetings fellow readers. I'm Astrid Addams and I write horror and weird stuff. It's been a little while since I've published anything on here. That doesn't mean I've spent the last year just watching crap online.
Oh no, for the last few months I have been working my way out of a place most writers are familiar with, editing hell.
Whilst I battle the next novella into the shape I want, I hope to offer up some short fiction for you to get your teeth into.
Craig got interested in writing in middle school. He met up with a guy who introduced him to RPG's, fantasy and science fiction, and most importantly, the idea of writing stories. Studying writing all through high school and college, he continued creating stories.
His first publication came with a gaming company called Palladium Books, creating an index for their role playing game, Rifts. The success of the first led to a second. After he concentrated on fiction, and in 2008 he connected with a group called the Wolf Pirate Project who taught him all about writing and editing.
More recently, he's gotten hooked on writing short stories and has published ten to date with various small presses and magazines.
You can find out more about him and his stories at his website.
