While I do believe this is real germ-x, it is not like any other germ-x I have bought. It is extremely watery. If you look at the inactive ingredients you will see that water is the first ingredient (ingredients are listed in order of volume in products) on the older bottle I have bought a few months ago, water is the last inactive ingredient. No wonder this was inexpensive, it is watered down by the manufacturer. Wish I could return it. (New bottle is on the left in the picture, old bottle on the right)
