Blog postGray Skies of Dismal Dreams received its first review on Amazon!
JA Stone, who gave the book five stars, wrote:
"This collection of dark poetry and prose has a fantastic appeal.
In my opinion, poetry is the highest form of humankind's written word. Gerri Gray's poetry is both eclectic and approachable - worthy of study. I think many people shy away from poetry, because they fear it may be too deep, and they may not understand the hidden meanings. Eloquently4 years ago Read more -

Blood and Blasphemy is a collection of over thirty of the most sacrilegious horror stories ever written. Within these irreverent pages, you will encounter a priest that keeps his deformed spawn chained in a root cellar, a convent where a poisonous species of salamander is worshiped, a demonic altar boy, possessed religious relics that kill, blood-drinking clergymen, a Son of God who feeds on sin, an unsuspecting couple who run afoul of religious lunatics in a small town, the divine (and deadly) turd of Christ, and other terrifying tales guaranteed to make church ladies faint and nuns clutch their rosaries.

Gray, Christopher Hamel, Carlton Herzog, B.T. Joy, A.L. King, Daryl Marcus, Jeremy Megargee, Donna J.W. Munro, Hari Navarro, Trevor Newton, Drew Nicks, C.C. Parker, Wolfgang Potterhouse, J.L. Vampires, genetically engineered animal-people, giant spiders, ghouls—and more than a handful of the absolutely worst monsters of them all: the human variety—are brought to you by some of the biggest and best horror names in the indie world today!
Featuring monstrous stories by Jeff Strand, P. Mattern, Gerri R. Gray, Ksenia Murray, Cayce Osborne, Mark Wheaton,
Richard Clive, Tom Vandermolen, Chris Preston, Jeff Oliver,
Scotty Milder, Carson Demmans, Jane Nightshade, Douglas Ford, Alexander C. Bailey, Ricki Whatley, and Krissy Eliot, this is a collection not to be passed by!
A place where demons dwell, where nightmares tend to be more than just bad dreams, and where anomalous terrors can rise up at any moment from the still, watery depths beneath you.
Compiled and edited by HellBound Books’ very own mistress of the macabre, Gerri R. Gray, this third volume in The Toilet Zone series overflows with 30 hair-raising tales, each one ideal in length for a sit-down read when nature calls. And, for those ‘wee’ visits to the smallest room, there are a handful of shorter stories we affectionately refer to as ‘flush fiction.’
In our dimension, where the signposts are written in blood, you‘ll meet all sorts of intriguing individuals: a nun who makes a habit out of murdering, a magician whose tricks will leave you stumped, and an incarcerated killer who brings an entirely new meaning to the term ‘jailbird’.
You’ll also visit public restrooms that’ll make you want to “hold on to it” until you get home. Watch out for the neck-biters and ankle-biters, and rest assured, there’s an abundance of bugs and slugs and other creepy-crawlers waiting to make you squirm in your seat. And that’s not to mention all the dead things that simply refuse to stay dead.
So, prepare yourself for some restroom reading at its most terrifying!
Or, how about feeling the unbridled horror of having doctors perform macabre medical procedures on you while you lie helplessly upon their theater table? Prepare yourself to face these terrors, and so many, many more, that skulk silently within these pages...
No theme, no boundaries, no limits - just Bloody Good Horror...
35 Blood-chilling tales from:
Ken Goldman, Carlton Herzog, Lamont A. Turner,
Matt Martinek, J Louis Messina, Drew Nicks,
