Ryl is back and it's explosive!

Well, ... not feeling too happy about this book

Okay, the focus is on hope. Unfortunately. found very little to cheer for in this one. Such a portrait of doom and evil and obstacles I had a hard time enjoying anything in this one. If I was a substance abuse I need a hit after this one. Not sure if I will read book 4.

Mr. Aaron has brought this series to life. Its fast pace keeps you reading . He tells this story in great detail to bring you along the journey with each an every character. Ryl cares all the weight for all he comes in contact with. With his friends they will fight the dark.Read the series you will not be disappointed.
Way to go C.J.Aaron. Waiting for book #4 bring it on

Great Fantasy Series

This book in the series seemed a little slower paced than the others, it was definitely setting up for the rest of the series. The ending was a definite cliffhanger and there are a few answers I hoped to get that I guess I need to wait for.

Two problems. Too much detail. And most important the editing is terrible. It's like the computer selected the words and phrases. They are close but not right. The story is great and the characters are compelling.

The Story covers a lot of ground. The main character doesn't reveal his plan to his friends so the reader doesn't see it until it unfolds. So there are a few surprises in the story. A good deal of confusion at the end, which hopefully will be clarified in the next book.

Excellent story. Although I admit the editing could have been better, the story has kept me hooked!! I’ve read book one two and three in the matter of a week and a half, I can’t seem to put it down. And for only a dollar!!! Tell me where you can find quality entertainment that cheap?

I did start out liking the series but as the story moves on I find that it does not hold my attention. The characters are good but I don't find them real to me. Still a good book.

I’ve been riveted to this story since the first page. Through the most harrowing of circumstances, our hero turns hope into action, a kind heart into salvation. In my experience, the relationship between good and evil has seldom been illuminated in such a uniquely-drawn world. And it’s just a great page-turner, with finely- developed characters that keep me immersed in the story laid out with plenty of twists.
I’m about to dive into the fourth volume with high hopes that there will be more to come.

I Highly recommend the book. Couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait for the next one. The story keeps getting better and better.
