This was ultimately a good read. I don't say that lightly - few books get my stamp of approval. Technically, it was very good - the spelling was good, the characters were well-developed, I didn't spot any plot holes, and I didn't figure out the ending until the end. When it was given to me. That alone was worth the read; that the author drove the story so carefully that I was engaged until the end. The author's goals for this story were accomplished (read the Afterword, well...after). If you are a fan of whodunits, I'd definitely recommend this book.

Succinctly, Jamie, a medical student doing part time jobs to pay for his courses, falls for Alice, the daughter of a deceased but very rich investor. Whilst fitting kitchen cupboards in the luxurious beach home of Alice’s family, Jamie finds a usb stick with incriminating sex videos of various people. What follows (the good part of the book) are events where the reader is left wondering exactly who is telling the truth. Alice and Jamie join forces to get to the bottom of the conundrum, which puts both in mortal danger.
I would recommend this book as it is well written and there’s a degree of thrill. However, if you’ve read other books by this author, you may find it disappointing, as I did.
