*UPDATE* I will have had this for 3 years this coming December. The bottom tiers are still going strong, but as some other reviewers have mentioned the top perch is now broken and the stairs have detached. I'm leaving this as 5 stars still, though, because for $70 it lasted quite a while for my cats.
Please rate this review as "helpful" if it helped you! Thanks

Today, the hammock fell off easily again while my cat was playing on the tree, and all of the sudden, I found her struggling there because her eyelid got hooked by the hook!!! I rescued her off hook and she was literally bleeding!! It was so lucky that I happen to be at home, or else I can't image what would happen if she was home alone and tried to get out of hook by herself. IT WOULD MADE HER BLIND!! So please double think about it before you purchase this product.

It's very durable. We have adult 3 cats ranging from 12-14 lbs and 1 young adult cat that's 8 lbs. All 4 of them are on it at the same time frequently and it hasn't broken or tipped over. The heaviest fell off while rolling in catnip and it withheld him freaking out and hanging on for his life, so I don't think it'll fall anytime soon. The little bowl that hangs out on the side holds the heaviest cat with ease as well.
My only complaint is that the hammock falls off easily, but it's to be expected with the hooks it comes with.
If I remember, I will follow up in 3 months to add how it's handled my crazy fur babies.
*UPDATE*
So, I remembered! About 1.5 months into excessive use, the top tier became too lose and no amount of screwing it in would make it stay. We even tried some glue, but it was too wobbly. I ended up using the wood Gorilla Glue to keep it together and it holds up well without a screw. My littlest cat loves the bowl and has torn up the rope. He managed to unbraid it. My eldest cat would only scratch the front post and he scratched it into oblivion, so I turned over the tower and switched it with another poll to let him keep scratching. Last, we ended up switching the hammock because they love to play through the hole in the middle tier.
Overall, I still say I definitely got my money's worth. It's used daily by 4 cats and to be completely honest, I didn't expect to last this long.
**December 2016 Update**
Besides everything I've mentioned, I wanted to share how I revamped the tower. I'm in the process of replacing all the rope posts with some rope I bought off here. Despite being in the middle of a DIY project, I wanted to share how it looks and my cats are in love with it.
The only reason why I'm putting so much effort into keeping this tower is that my husband's baby is in love with the bowl, so I can't take it away from him. Lol
Oh yeah. I bought a bed to go on the top since the perch was long gone. Turns out that it was a good idea. :)
I hope my extensive review helped and gave ideas to all those who've read!
Here's the rope that I bought to redo the scratching posts:
T.W . Evans Cordage 23-410 3/8-Inch by 100-Feet Twisted Sisal Rope https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DKA3OGO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_BTdvyb4Z4Y984
I just used a hot glue gun and did 2 rows glue, 2 rows wrapped tight without glue, then just kept alternating. You'll need to buy 2 if you're wanting to completely redo the bottom.

Top reviews from other countries

First impressions were good. It's very heavy and solidly constructed. The round side bed has a very sturdy rim (I think steel?) so it holds up to the weight. They still aren't too sure about this piece and the hammock, but this is new territory for them so hopefully with time they will be more confident. I did see my larger cat in the round bed once and the size was just about right - she fills the whole area with her front paws sitting on the edge. So smaller cats won't have any problems fitting in there, but larger cats might. The hanging rope toy was the first thing they started playing with before the tree was assembled, so that's been a hit. I appreciate that it is attached by a wood piece that screws into the bottom of the upper shelf. They had a tree previously with a mouse toy on string which was ripped off almost immediately. The house condo is small and my bigger cat really can't use it. Smaller cat has looked inside, but not really utilized it. Same goes for the round tunnel piece attached to the very top; they can't really sit inside it, but there's been some fun with sticking toys inside and watching them bat it out. The very top shelf is the most popular followed by the second-highest. My larger cat can lie just comfortably on the top part, so again, larger cats may have issues here.
The main issue I really have is that they find it somewhat difficult to jump between the second and third shelf since they are pretty much the same size. The house condo sticks out a small amount so there has been some awkward successes climbing up that way. They have not used the round bed to ascend, but this may be due to the newness of it. There is some shaking with bounding up to the top and wiggling around, but for the most part it seems stable. This is helped by the large base.
For the price, it's a good tree and has the height and "interest" factor that I was looking for. The posts are a bit slimmer than my old Trixie tree, but stability seems to be decent and they've been scratching at them.
---
EDIT: It's now been one month and I thought I'd follow up with regards to usage and how the tree has been holding up. The tree is still one of their favourite spots and there are quite often battles for the very top. Placement has probably helped a lot on this since it's by my patio door and allows them to look out over the world. Due to popular demand and rough use, the top part loosens over time and starts getting a slight lean to it. The cylinder piece helps provide support to the top platform, but I've found that every so often I need to tighten the top pole back in the base and that seems to do the trick for a while. The house condo never gets used and the hammock remains unused as well. They don't really use the ladder to ascend, but jump either directly up to the platform or bound up from the side using the house condo to get to the top. However, the side pocket/round bed has seen more use and one of my cats regularly naps in it now that she is used to it (especially when the top is already claimed by the other). The dangling rope is still holding up as well. Overall I'm still happy with it and the cats seem to love it, so it's been a worthwhile purchase.

Three Month Update
I personally like to read reviews for items with wear and tear, so I thought I'd come back and update on how this tree is holding up after three months of use (and I mean hard use!). Shortly after I wrote the one month update, I went to tighten the top platform again and it just came off completely in my hands. I think with usage, the screw had worn away at the plastic and eventually there wasn't anything left for it to tighten into. I was disappointed about this, but with assistance came up with a "hack" to fix it. We pried the plastic cap off the bottom (lots of staples to pull out) and attached the cap to the screw using a nut to secure it. The pole went back over the cap and we also drilled 4 short screws around the base of the pole (into the plastic cap) to really ensure that it wasn't going anywhere. We did this under the carpeted part of the pole and then rolled it back down to cover the screw heads (I'm including of a picture of what it looks like with the carpet rolled up). It means it's not as easy to take apart, but that's not an issue to me. It's now held up without any rocking or stability issues (beyond the expected shaking as a cat rolls around up there!). As I mentioned, my cats are rough on this thing so it really has held up besides that one fix. They still never use the house condo or the hammock and the rope toy has unraveled slightly at the bottom, but that's not unexpected to me. I'm leaving this at 4 stars, but would just caution that you may need to make adjustments to the tree over time as it gets used.
