Over-flowing with thrills and spills

I've read several books by David Wood, and I find them entertaining, over-flowing with thrills and spills, and chock-full of fantastical myths that keep the reader flipping pages. Golden Dragon, though short on pages, still captures all of the same excitement and adventure one would expect from a David Wood novel. The protagonist, Dane Maddock, is always on his game. In Golden Dragon, he must face the dreaded Dominion and Nian, a long-tailed, scaly creature that has teeth like "steak knives" as well as try and foil a Dominion plot at Time Square. Can Maddock get there in time? You'll have to grab the book to find out. Five thrilling stars for Golden Dragon.

This book is pretty much exactly what I said in the title here - long time fans are going to enjoy this new Maddock tale, and at not quite 70 pages it is about as minimal an investment as it gets for people looking for a new world to explore. And if you do like it... there are a LOT of books to read after this one, including several adventures referenced within this tale with varying degrees of spoilers (for those concerned with such things). Fun, satisfying, and quick ride -the literary equivalent of a theme park rollercoaster, in other words. ;) Very much recommended.
