The most interesting thing was finding the house on Google Maps

An hour & a half of boredom. Although it took place in London, 95% of it was filmed in a dark, dank, rundown locale. It felt like being trapped. I couldn't wait for it to end. Why on earth did Tom Wilkinson agree to be in this movie.

Not So Good People...

So this couple barely has a pot to whiz in yet want to bring a baby into their struggle. Never will understand that mentality. Lack of common sense. They prove just how irresponsible they are by being greedy little thieves , perfect parenting material. You steal expect there to be consequences. Because of their greediness look at the chaos. Even if it's dirty money, it's not your money. There's no 'good people' here.

Really not worth watching...

This movie really is not worth watching....You do get to see Kate Hudson's butt when she gets out of the shower, so maybe that is something....So back to the movie. You can see what is going to happen a mile away....Also, the ending is just laughable....So, Kate Hudson and her husband James Franco tell all the bad guys to come to them in some isolated spot at the end of the movie, which makes no sense at all....

Good People who get into trouble & make it

I liked the movie. It takes place in England. Tom and Anna are just two people trying to make ends meet & Anna is trying to get pregnant. Tragedy strikes this couple when a tenant of theirs is found dead in the basement apartment he was renting from Tom & Anna. Tom finds some money in the basement apartment and takes it. Tom & Anna are basically good people, but within all of us there lies evil and Tom uses some of the money to bail himself out. Of course the money was stolen in a drug war and both sides take it out on Tom & Anna. The police suspect Tom & Anna and confront them and eventually get Tom to surrender the money. This is where the fun begins. A deal is made whereby Tom & Anna will deliver the money to one of the parties and all hell breaks loose. The policeman is shot and Tom & Anna are on the run. Eventually one of the drug members kidnaps Anna's god-daughter & mother and a deal is made to bring the money to a house that Tom inherited from his grandmother & got into debt renovating it. It's an action, crime and thriller all wrapped into one.

About the only thing I did not like was that many of the scenes are portrayed in the "dark" and unless you're watching it on a Home Theater screen in a dark room, all you'll be able to hear is the dialog (that's why I took 1 star off of what other wise would have been a 5 star review)

Wonderful "eveyman" story....what would you do?

What a terrific cast, James Franco, Kate Hudson, Tom Wilkerson. A young American couple (James Franco and Kate Hudson) falls into severe debt while renovating a home in London. When they discover that the tenant in the apartment below them was murdered and left $400,000 cash stashed in the ceiling, the couple thinks all of their problems are solved…but that's when very bad things start happening to good people. This is the description given. It is very concise and to the point. Why did I like this so much? The performances and the story were very good. Do others who have reviewed this and given it much less have some points, yes, they do. It does get pretty slow at times. This is a vey paced movie and to me this is how it needs to be. Are James and Kate dumb? they do some really stupid things for sure but we have to think they are the "everyman" and don't know how to be criminal or hide it. I really love James Franco and someday, everyone will realize what a talent he really is.

Movie Just ok - but annoying at the end

Ok movie. Ok acting. Ok plot. What I hated was how Amazon required me to watch the entire end of movie credits (several minutes long) before it would switch from “continue watching” to “play again”. This is not the case with other movies

bahhh humbug. Boring, predictable, useless

Too thin and useless as story line/theme/plot/acting. Too poor a script -- if ll those shots can be counted as actual scripts. Too shallow for a many-known-actors, international movie [u.s. / u.k. / africa, russia, etc.]. Can't say it made me fee like I was watching a movie, in any way at all
