About the Author
Christina Forshay was born and raised in sunny California, where she lives with her amazing husband and the two cutest kids in the world! Of course, as a child she could be found drawing, coloring and admiring her grand collection of crayons. Christina is proud and grateful to be able to work as an illustrator for the children’s market. Seriously, what could be more fun?!? --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

The best part of the book however, are the illustrations by Christina Forshay (who also illustrated "The Really Groovy Story of the Tortoise and the Hare," written by Kristyn Crow.) That's why I gave it five stars! Even without the words, one could still tell what the story is about.
The book has a wonderful vintage feel to it, including the front and back cover, as well as the inside front and back cover. The outside front cover is very soft and smooth. It looks far better in person--as if someone placed the title stickers on it. Same goes for the back cover. It has two vintage style tickets that includes the coded bars and pricing. You really need to see check it out.
