"A little rabbit bids goodnight to each familiar thing in his moonlit room. Rhythmic, gently lulling words combined with warm and equally lulling pictures make this beloved classic "an ideal bedtime book." --"The Christian Science Monitor"
About the Author
Margaret Wise Brown, author of Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny, is one of the best-selling children's book authors of all time. Her unique ability to see the world through a child's eyes gave a new and enduring dimension to picture-book writing. Another Important Book is the companion to her classic picture book The Important Book, illustrated by Leonard Weisgard and first published in 1949.

PS I am doing an EDIT because of comments I read regarding this classic. Please do your research and read about the psychology of this book, its author, Margaret Wise Brown whose biography, The Great Green Room was fascinating, and treat yourself to the DVD of this. Mesmerizing and soothing. By the way, you all missed the fact that the mouse's placement "moves" on each of the "colored" pages. Engage your little ones with, "where is the mouse"? I hope you are encouraged to revisit this book. It will be time well spent and definitely worth it.

I adore reading to my two little grandsons who, despite being just 2 and 3, have already developed a real passion for books. This one, however, just hasn’t grabbed their attention at all and is never picked from the shelf when it’s time for a bedtime story. I trust their judgement, so just two stars I’m afraid.
Thanks for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful. Check out my profile page for more reviews of toddler books and puzzles and educational toys and games.
It truly is a favourite in our household and I would recommend for any with small children, babies, toddlers. Such a nice story to get them talking about, and also help them drift off to sleep.
I am going to purchase a new one soon because the current one is in bad condition because it travels with us everywhere.
This book is for babies and todders fot like and love , which most of the children do . Is not for adults as they might not undestand the simple rymes or very contured and dark colours . But this book depends how you introducing or read it to your child as a cartoon or a bed time story .
