Ok. So I love Jennifer Tilly.

I'm biased because of it so, this movie was good to me. People think Tilly is stupid judging her by her voice and the parts she picks, but in reality she's quite intelligent. I didn't like the ending but it's a normal ending for her movies. She does like to play independent characters even if kind of dumb ones.

Yeah, no.

The only way you'll like this movie is if you enjoy watching a truly stupid bimbo (I know that's redundant, but think of it as squared) bouncing randomly through life like a steel ball in one of those Japanese arcade games.

Cut but just not that well written and didn't hold my attention. I was busy and puttering in the house as it was playing, so it was okay for that.

This film is a funny recalling of a young woman's life whose parental suppression, mixed with hormonal and personality drives lead her through an interesting path through life. Surviving the obstacles and negative aspects, she comes through it all with a family of her own and finally realizes success and happiness within herself. It's an example of one person's ability to survive despite others' attempts to thwart success and happiness.
