We thought it would be a family movie but we turned it off because of the cursing to God. Very disappointed.

Review for The Great Alaskan Race

The story is based on a true story. I like true stories. The movie stars acted very well especially the lead actor Brian Presley. He was wonderful. Treat Williams acted very well also. The background showing the snow and the blizzard is so true. That is how it is in Alaska when we have a storm. All the performers are wonderful. I enjoyed this movie very much that I bought the DVD and watched three times even though I saw it already when it was shown in the movie house. I am so grateful to Brian Presley for making this true story to a movie. It does show to people to believe that if there's a will, there's a way. That was the people in Nome, Alaska did during the epidemic to save the children from dying.

Not Good at all

I have lived in Alaska for 30 years, the only entertainment was laughing at the mistakes. The native Alaskans were not represented here. Come on Hollywood, Athabaskan's and Inuit's can act, let them represent themselves. Terribly over dramatic nonrealistic non-sense.

The story is amazing, read the book The Longest Mile or any book for that matter regarding this story and it would better. Also, watch ToGo on Disney, this movie is 100% better regarding Togo and the great race. I don't usually write reviews but this movie was so bad I just had to do it as it does no justice to the original story.
