When I rented this it was out of curiosity. I kept hearing how terrible it was, even from Ryan Reynolds himself! However, it wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. The CGI was weak, and they really didn't go very in depth into the characters, but I really liked the overall message of the movie which was basically overcoming fear. My 5 year old son LOVED this movie, although he was scared of the bad guys. It was honestly perfect for my little guy as he is timid and working to find his own courage. "Remember the Green Lantern!" has been an effective reminder that it's okay to be afraid, you just have to find your courage.
