One of my most favorite movies!

I can watch this movie over and over again. Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher play off each other wonderfully. So fun and entertaining - I highly recommend it.

Anything with Bernie is going to be funny!

Very funny breaks into racial stereotype humor and no one was injured or succumbed to deadly butt-hurt because of it.

Some fun and entertainment value, but...

This movie had huge potential, but unfortunately fell short steeply and often. Some was too fictional, some was too disturbing.
Zooming in on one thing, either a relationship is going to work or it's not. If a big decision is made that it won't, then that shouldn't just suddenly change later. This one falls into both categories: it comes across as fictional, but if it really does happen, then it's disturbing that such a major decision wasn't thought out well before it was reversed.
A person who is well seasoned regarding relationships should know to take red flags seriously (letting them go often backfires miserably), but even a relationship novice should know that once a red flag is spotted and addressed, not to reverse the decision lightly.

I'm sorry that I did not see this movie when it 1st came out...

...'Cause it's EXCELLENT! I had no clue that this movie would Twist and Turn and eventually have me sitting here writing WONDERFUL things and making me feel ashamed that I wasted too many years rolling my eyes and scrolling past every opportunity that I had to get that upbeat feeling that stays with you days after you watch a really good movie! "Guess Who" is soooooooooooo GOOD!

2005 movie not 2021 as Amazon dated
Verified purchase
This was ok. I thought this was new as Amazon dated it as 2021. So I thought I rented a new movie. I felt a bit cheated with that as I later searched and found it came out in 2005. I watched it anyway and found it very boring. A mix race relationship is old news. Super old news. Everyone knows someone who's in a mixed relationship so how did this become an actual movie? Is this 1812?

A modern twist on an old classic-Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?

I found the boyfriend to be totally unaware and insensitive at times but that's essentially what made the movie humorous; a good choice when you need a no-brainer stress-free watch with lots of laughs, lessons included too. I ended with a smile on my face so time well invested.
