Be very careful. I'm not sure if it will make a difference, but the package indicates an installation date of Mar 2007. I do know that HP will not warrant the print head and I'm not sure about the seller. I'll find out if I have problems. Seller just listed as "New", which is true but.

After years of supporting printers with these printheads, I generally haven't had many problems. It can definitely be difficult to figure out which printhead needs replacing, despite what the display says. Make sure to wipe the contacts clean on all printheads before replacing any. Replacing all at once may be a good strategy.

Be aware: The HP Business Inkjet 2800 does not accept out of date printheads. Tested on two printers, same result every time.

Every in-date print head has worked fine first time.

I fail to see what part of a print-head can possibly be affected by age if undamaged and unused (an expert may be able to explain to me). Strikes me as a sales ploy...
