A day of celebration and dedication to the heroes and survivors of 9/11 is suddenly disrupted by a long-planned terrorist attack. From the tumultuous battlefields of Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi deserts to the unsuspecting shores of the United States, Tommy Anderson brings to life an unsettling account of what could actually happen when thousands of sleeping warriors infiltrate the very fabric of American military and public safety agencies.
Fueled by increasing acts of seemingly unrelated terrorism by ISIS militants, and unfettered over decades of political unpreparedness, Haboob Wind furiously builds to a suspenseful, violent climax, unfolding in a page-turning twist of events as three retired war buddies join forces to battle the storm.
Haboob Wind has been optioned by Global Edge Pictures Hollywood for a feature film.

Editorial Reviews
Review
"The author's eye for detail and knowledge of military protocol and dialogue gave this story an aura of chilling realism. It became too real as I read along. I really enjoyed how antique aircraft played an important part in the story. Mr. Anderson's narrative was engaging and the pacing crisp. The tension built throughout the story, culminating in a gripping climax where I could finally take a breath. Very nicely done." Five Star Goodreads Review by Gregory Renz
"I was so incredibly excited to read this novel ... an incredibly detailed scene of the life of our military overseas. Perhaps what kept me glued to this book more than most was the fact that the author brought to life a scenario in which could easily happen. I am looking forward to reading more by this upcoming author." Five Star Goodreads Review by Susan Graves
"Haboob Wind scares the daylights out of you if it ever came true ... a wakeup call of how we can prevent this from happening. Tommy has taken this right out of today's headlines, the current, past and potential political situations and what could happen if the fictional events in the book actually came to pass." - Us4Warriors

Actually, without the past generations of war planes housed in museums, this story would have had a sad and empty ending. In reality this is one good reason to keep the older planes viable and visible.
When I started the book, it was easy to get into, but had to finish it in before I put it down.
Anderson brings his Haboob wind from the tumultuous battlefields of Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi desserts through a timespan of twenty unsettling years to the unsuspecting shores of the United States.
Fueled by increasing acts of seemingly unrelated terrorism by ISIS militants and unfettered over a couple decades of political unpreparedness, the Haboob Wind furiously builds to a suspenseful, violent climax. The storm hits the United States and must be stopped.
Through a complex twist of plots the military, the FBI and three retired war buddies join forces to battle the storm. I needed to keep reading to find out whether the combined American ingenuity could win the day and save the country.
I recommend this book for the relevancy of today and view it as a wake-up call to prepare for the looming storms of terrorism still blowing into our country
