Interesting storyline that is well written, with a realistic feel, great supporting characters. 🤗
It's no longer surprising to hear about a best friend's betrayal with one's significant other 🙄. Also revelations of more of Hollywood's debauchery are revealed 😳. Especially since the predators are occupying key positions and some are trying to force their negative behaviors as an initiation if you want to move ahead 😳.
Dallas and Ari, wew chille 🔥🔥🔥, on the hood of that car dayumm 😂. The next day Dallas is the secret client that Ari has to work her magic to change his public image 😂😂😂. I lmao through this storyline, shed tears for Dallas 🥺. It's a good bedtime read 😉.

First time reader. The story was cute and a good between dramatic book read. I like to call them pallet cleaners. I enjoyed both characters and their story. I found the story to be very tame.

I generally read steamy stories but this was an acceptable change.

Hope you enjoy Ari’s strength, her fierceness and how she loves as much as do. She is definitely someone I can relate to. I hope you enjoy Dallas. He is so kind, sweet and just wants to be happy and in love.

This book did give me the feels. They were just such a cute couple.

I've read other books by Ms. Loren and LOVED them. I struggled with Hall Pass. Admittedly, I started listening to the Audio book and had to stop at Chapter 3. The narrators voice did not jive with my ear. It took another 3 chapters for my internal narrator to fully take over.
The story was interesting but it felt more like 3 stories instead of 1 cohesive story. The HEAT level was pretty good and fit the length of the book. Did my dislike of the audio affect my review? Possibly. Would I recommend this book? Sure, it's a fun read.

I just loved this story. It was cute and funny. Just about every woman's fantasy that came true for our leading lady in this story. So in this story Ari is in a long-term relationship with her boo who suggests they make a hallpass or basically a one in a million shot to sleep with a superstar/person of your dreams. Well Ari actually gets this chance and this talented author made for a fantastic read detailing the drama that arises from the Hallpass of a lifetime. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. It was so creatove, juicy, and humorous! Five 🌟 must read for sure!!!

The chemistry between Dallas and Ari is undeniable but Dallas' insecurities as a Hollywood sex symbol go deeper than first stated. I wish the author had prefaced that earlier on and allowed readers to unravel that mystery more organically rather than spring on readers near the end. The same goes for Ari's relationship with Gerald and Jess. That's a lot to drop in a nonchalant, oh-by-the-way scenario. Overall, the book was a good read but with so much potential.

Hall Pass is the perfect mixture of a book that makes you sad, angry, and full of laughter in just one sitting. It was an amazing read. It was not what I expected. I just knew from the title it would be an abundance of sex, sex, and more sex, with a whole lot of people, but I was wrong and am absolutely ok with that! Hall Pass had me on edge trying to figure out what was going to happen next. At the beginning of the book, the character Jess, who’s the friend of Ari was irritating my soul and I could not understand why. As I read along it started to dawn on me. Certain clues gave it away well before getting to the part of the story that explains it. The restaurant kind of gave it all away for me. It’s crazy how Gerald is all for the idea of the hall pass in conversation, but deep down he wasn’t really for it. He was more about having his cake and eating it too. Ari’s post-encounter with Dallas and his coldness was quite upsetting. Dallas knew he wanted Ari, but was quick to assume she was like the rest. Granted, I did understand why. It’s funny how things just so happen to work out with Dallas becoming Ari’s client the very next day. Just like Ari, I would not have been eager, however, I loved the way the story ended for both Ari and Dallas.

The book also include a topic that is not discussed as much as it should be concerning men. You'll have to read the book to see because I can't give any spoilers.
