2.0 out of 5 starsPros: inexpensive, easy to use; Cons: LOUD, lightweight, inefficient

If you are new to juicing, this could be a good starter device - it's inexpensive and easy to assemble and use. That said, I think the cons outweigh the pros for long-term or consistent use. First, it's incredibly loud (I'm talking jet-engine-in-your-kitchen loud). Second, it rattles around the counter because it's lightweight, so you have to juggle holding it steady as you feed produce down the shoot; I've resorted to strapping a hefty rubber band around the device to keep the pulp container more tightly attached. And third, the pulp is often moist, which means you're losing a lot of juice. Because of these issues, I don't use it nearly as often as I would've liked. After having this juicer for almost 2 years, I'll be upgrading to a more expensive juicer that is quieter, heavier, and more efficient. Suggestion: watch videos of people using juicers at home, especially to hear how loud they are and see how much juice is produced.
