The ballpoint pen and colored pencils are invisible on the back side.
The Pigma Micron 08 and Prismacolor 08 are *barely* visible on the back side, a mere ghosting. Once you wrote on the backside, you wouldn't notice at all.
The Sharpies, both fine point and ultra-fine point, bleed through a bit and are highly visible on the back side. Enough to be distracting if you wanted to write on the back side. (Note: the ink on the front doesn't bleed and make the letters "fuzzy" at all. Letters on the front are still crisp. It just bleeds through to the back.)
