POWERFUL!

I have a couple of Zulay frothers that I have been using for awhile and the one at my office ended itself with a dive off the counter. I picked up one of these GRUNEN WOLKENs and (after finding a couple of AAs to feed it) was very impressed with the power difference (see video). It also feels good in the hand with the button in a more intuitive / comfortable position. I am thinking the other Zulay might have a fatal tumble soon.

This good looking functional frother worked great for 6 months then went silent. Batteries were fine and new batteries didn't help, simply quit working at all. It can't be disassembled for further troubleshooting. I saw similar complaints in the reviews before I purchased with crossed fingers. Other review complaints I'd read also mentioned that the AA battery compartment was difficult/impossible to get batteries in and out of .... I experienced this as well when I 1st got this Grunen frother and tried inserting older rechargeable batteries and they were too tight a fit - had to use new alkaline batteries. I'll try to post again in the future when I find a replacement frother worthy of recommending. Meanwhile, don't buy this one for the landfill. OK?

This little thing is amazing. I was making my froth for coffee by putting creamer in a container, microwaving it for 30 seconds and shaking it like crazy. Which was exhausting and barely worked (Thanks Pinterest!) So I decided to get myself one of these. I don’t think an expensive coffee frother could perform any better than this one does! It turns a tiny bit of creamer into a full cup of frothy goodness in seconds. Now that I’ve used it daily for a few days I know to froth in separate container then add to coffee, otherwise it’s a whole cup of foam and no coffee.

I go through these frothers. This is my first grunen. I am pleased at the get go for the following reasons...came swiftly and the design is far more practical. I like the way the batteries load at the top and the button is on the side. When the button is on the top, it is hard to know where to put the pressure and how much to get it going at the best speed. I feel I will have more control with a side button. But, I got the adorable stencils which I wasn't expecting and I can't wait to try them out. The price was great and the reviews and now I see why. This company communicates that it is determined to make satisfaction a priority. I will be a repeat buyer because I plan to wear this thing out but I doubt it will wear out any time soon.

I really liked this frother. It’s unfortunate that it didn’t even last a month before it started acting up.

I was impressed by its strength and speed. It seemed high quality, but now it’s inconsistent and I’m lucky if it even turns on. It has new batteries - I’ve tried swapping them out twice - so that’s not the issue. The design for the battery is flawed - it’s flimsy and way too easy to accidentally pop the plastic open when you’re in the middle of trying to use the frother.

I also found it impossible fo disconnect the frother attachment to try the whisk attachment.

Overall I was really excited about this product but I’m sorely disappointed in its short life. I hope I can get a refund or a replacement because I’m already on the hunt for a different one.

Inexpensive & easy to use (and came with stencils!)

I bought this to jazz up my coffee in the morning. I’m not a huge coffee fan but need it to get me moving in the morning so I got this so I’m able to enjoy my coffee more and it definitely serves its purpose. I also warmed up some hot milk and added some hazelnut syrup to it and used this to froth it and it was SO INCREDIBLY delicious! (Look up frothed hazelnut milk :-) The instructions were easy to understand and I’m going to try out some of the stencils this weekend and see what I am capable of making. I didn’t realize it came with design stencils so that was an awesome added bonus and it’s something I am going to try doing with my daughter. My nine year old enjoyed using this to make her milk bubble up, as it was super easy for her to use. The stencils are also reusable and washable which is nice. And it worked so quickly! It only took 30 seconds to get the amount of frothing I wanted.
I got the red color and it goes nicely with my kitchen accents and looks good in its little holder on my counter top and sits upright for easy use. The only thing you may want to take into account is that you will need batteries (two double AAs are needed) but the price was inexpensive so I definitely got my money’s worth (and then some). The outside packaging was cute and it came quickly. No complaints!

I like to add ground spices to the milk and the spring end is sufficiently wide as to not have the spices stuck forever or have to scrub them out with a toothbrush.

I keep a small jar with water next to it so I can use the frother then put it in water and a quick spin and I’m ready for the next cup. I became weary of using it going to sink. This works perfectly for multiple cups.

The stick frother is also super handy for those of us that do not want to take apart a machine and clean it each time I make a cup of coffee (machine based frother). I have a tiny kitchen and counter space is at a premium.

I brought it to my parents and now they are latte fans.

I have found that whole milk and sometimes a little flavored creamer heated in a cup for 1 minute then frothed is the perfect formula.

Egg beater attachment moves side to side (unbalanced on its axis)

I bought this only for the egg beater attachment function (not the frother attachment function).

Unfortunately, the egg beater attachment doesn't spin in a stable way on its axis. Instead, this attachment moves significantly from side to side while it spins. This has the unwanted effect of turning a simple egg beater into a frother, producing mountains of foam in whatever you are beating in just a few seconds.

I wanted this to simply blend chocolate milk powder, protein powder, etc. in a glass of milk. The unstable side-to-side spinning on the mis-aligned axis of the egg beater attachment shaft causes these drinks to turn to a huge glass of foam in seconds.

I loved this product! My mom once bought one for me many moons ago and one day it just gave out. I guess I never really felt the need for it because we had bought an expresó machine that worked the same. Recently, I moved out and I did not take the expresó machine & I realized that I missed having my coffee with steamed/frothy milk. This product is super light weight, 2- double AA batteries not included, with a stand for storing (also fits just right if you place it in the drawer) it only has one power level, not too strong where the milk falls over either. And to add to the fun, it brings 16 stencils for fancy art to top it off. Will try and update review when I get a chance to play with the stencils. Overall, fun and inexpensive buy, would recommend.

I was excited about trying this product out after reading other reviews and especially after seeing that video some posted about how you waste your drink because it is, I assume too powerful. Anyhow, most people who use a hand-held froth know to do NOT submerge the froth you hold it at a 45 to 90 degree angle and Definitely not completely submerged. This little guy is powerful and although I have not used the wisk, I can see it will be powerful enough to whisk eggs. So for though of you seeing that video, pay it no mind, leap & take a chance. This is a good froth so far. I hope it lasts as long as my last one did, a few years.

It works great 👍, I love it with the holder .Only flaw is the red color is a little off, not the same red in the picture. But it doesn’t really bother me . After used, just rinse it and put it on the holder, super easy to use and clean.
