T's for hot summer days

I bought two of the Haynes Cool Dri, and two of their X-Temp performance T shirts. I drive a delivery truck in the hot humid Alabama summers and needed something with moisture wicking cool technology. After trying both I prefer the Cool Dri. They are made of a material that is slick and shiny, similar to silk, while the X-Temp fabric feels slightly fuzzy like brushed cotton. For this reason the Cool Dri feels cooler IMO. Both are long enough to stay tucked into jeans or shorts, the sleeves on the Cool Dri are longer for wearing as an outer shirt, while the X-Temp selves are shorter, more suitable as an undershirt. Both wick sweat away and dry quickly, and don't show salt stains like dark cotton.

Wish I could love it but I don’t.

Product stated it was tag free but it is not. Also some poor stitching noted at the collar area. I’m not a fan of companies that state one thing in the description and it’s not what you receive. Quality is far below the expected level. Sorry, would not recommend.

Sizing is really off - WAY too big

I'm usually happy with Hanes products but these shirts are definitely not what I would typically buy. I ordered the large, which is my size in all other Hanes T's but these fit more like an XL or even a 2XL. I also was very surprised that these have a tag inside the collar. One of the reasons I like Hanes is that the majority of their undershirts are tagless. I guess I should have paid closer attention to the product description. I will say that in spite of the sizing issue, and the annoying tag, the shirts are actually quite soft.

Tag is on top and irritating

Liked the shirt except for one big issue (at least for me) - tag location. Why in this day and age of tagless or bottom located tags would anyone put a tag on top where it constantly pops out and waves "hi!" to everyone. Plus it's irritating. Come on Hanes, you can do better. And before some smart aleck says "why don't you cut it off", I like keeping the laundry instructions, size, and brand that the tag has so I can buy more if I like them, or adjust the size up or down one. No tag, no idea who made it or what size or model it is, so no, I don't cut tags off unless I have no other choice.

This is the second time I've purchased these shirts, the last time being ~ 2 years ago.
The quality of the shirt has clearly gotten much worse. One of the shirts showed up half torn at the bottom, just had to throw that one out. Also in general it's less comfortable in comparison to the previous ones.
Not sure why they changed it so much, guess to save some $$. Either way wouldn't recommend these anymore.

Second purchase and like completely different shirts

Bought a pack of these previously, and used them as my regular undershirts for awhile and decided to get some more.

When I got them I new these shirts had changed big time, and were not the same ones I purchased previously.
The fabric was much thinner and stretchier, and looking at the tag I saw these had more nylon and less cotton than the last shirts. Also, another issue, these aren't supposed to have tags, but these had big annoying itchy tag. After trying them on, they are obviously not the same. I bought a Large previously, and these are a much tighter fit all around.

I kept them around to see if they would work as undershirts, but the fit and feel just got worse as they were washed.

Will not buy again, and I don't recommend buying due to the inconsistent quality.

Black option is terrible

I ordered pink and they are fine. But black both of the left arm holes are tighter than the right arm hole. I'm sure it is just a machine mistake or whatever but it shouldn't happen. The right arm is loose and normal and the left arm is fitted. Not usual. Other than that I don't mind the shirt it's just a basic black tee

Not what I expected

I ordered the Hanes white t-shirts X-temp and so I saw these and thought they were the same. They are not, they're thicker and not cool. I am very unhappy with this purchase. I get hot at night and wanted to wear them for sleeping in :( So if your looking for a cool t-shirt don't buy these. I was wanting to return but the seller said I had to pay for the return. So not worth it to send back.

What the heck?

I ordered these shirts in late December and they were great. A couple weeks later I selected the "buy it again" button to get 2 more. I received them yesterday, and while the tag on the shirt says they are the same as the ones previously received, they were a totally different material.

This new purchase is a heavier material and has a physical tag. I 'm not a fan of this "Hanes X temp" version.

Fake copy of the real Hanes shirts.

I have the real deal and this isn't it. These are fake copies that don't have the quality fit or durability of the actual Hanes product being advertised. I'm surprised they put them in a plastic bag and didn't try to copy the Hanes packaging. The stitching, especially around the neckband is terrible compared to the real Hanes product.

I've always loved this version of Hanes undershirts. That being said, I don't trust that what I'm receiving is legitimate Hanes shirts. The last three orders I've placed have provided three different kinds of shirts. Some are tagless, some are not. Some are very thin and breathe well, some are thicker and more durable like a cotton t-shirt. I really have no idea what to expect purchasing here. None of them were super uncomfortable but none of them are the same either.
