T's for hot summer days

I bought two of the Haynes Cool Dri, and two of their X-Temp performance T shirts. I drive a delivery truck in the hot humid Alabama summers and needed something with moisture wicking cool technology. After trying both I prefer the Cool Dri. They are made of a material that is slick and shiny, similar to silk, while the X-Temp fabric feels slightly fuzzy like brushed cotton. For this reason the Cool Dri feels cooler IMO. Both are long enough to stay tucked into jeans or shorts, the sleeves on the Cool Dri are longer for wearing as an outer shirt, while the X-Temp selves are shorter, more suitable as an undershirt. Both wick sweat away and dry quickly, and don't show salt stains like dark cotton.

Wish I could love it but I don’t.

Product stated it was tag free but it is not. Also some poor stitching noted at the collar area. I’m not a fan of companies that state one thing in the description and it’s not what you receive. Quality is far below the expected level. Sorry, would not recommend.

Buyer Beware...Open ALL packaging carefully to facilitate easy return. Inspect garments carefully. Most important CHECK PRODUCT MATERIALS. Confirm the product is made from the same material listed on the product page. Also check the fit before wash or wear to confirm everything is to your satisfaction and that the shirts meet or exceed your expectations.

I have bought 5-pack X-Temp Black t-shirts 3 times before this and never had an issue. This 2-pack in the Charcoal Heather size 2XL. The 5-packs were all (I think) a cotton/poly blend that felt like cotton but we're of the lightweight materiel I have come to love in the X-Temp shirts. *Note* Bought these three 5-packs over the past 3 years and nothing has changed much. Always happy and get the product I expect and have come to rely on to help keep me cool and reduce sweat as I suffer from hyperhidrosis. A real condition despite the odd name. (Google It)

So back to the 2-pack Charcoal Heather 2XL
These shirts are made of 100% polyester despite specifying a cotton blend in the information section. Also the shirts hang on my body like a cheap curtain.

And despite never having had this problem in the past ever...this shirts material for some reason makes my small guy nipples very noticeable. I am NOT used to this kind of issue so it makes me feel a bit self conscious, indecent, and very exposed. I feel like I seriously must have got some kinda cheap knock-off imitation Hanes X-Temp T-Shirts...

So...I don't think I will ever purchase this 2-pack again and recommend if you do open the shipping material and garment packaging carefully in case you need to send it back.

Because of how reliable this brand and type of shirt had been, and buying them 3 times over 3 years I had foolishly or reasonably just ripped all the packaging open and tossed it in the trash. Then I threw em in the washer as I always do with brand new t-shirts to get rid of the weird smell that goes away with the first wash. Guess I learned my lesson the hard way and will be more cautious in the future.

Drastically different that other Hanes Xtemp shirts I've bought

I've purchased other "Hanes X-Temp Performance T-Shirts" before and this is nothing like those. What is pictured here is not what you get, see the stitching around the neck for the dead giveaway. This is not a shirt of normal material thickness. It is so thin that I can see through both front and back together when held out in front of me against a wall. If you want a normal T shirt, this isn't it.

I re-read the item descriptions from both my prior X-Temp Performance T-Shirt purchases and this one. I see no differentiating attributes listed. I guess I'm done with online orders from Hanes.

Best fitting black XL shirt I could find

All I wear are XL black shirts, I have many. This is by far the best black XL shirt I could find on Amazon, make sure you're getting the one with the gray band on the inside of the neck-line. The shirt is not perfect, it can reveal my underwear sometimes because it's not long enough, it's not the biggest problem since it also makes it look "clean".

Typically my problem with XL shirts is that they're too tight on the shoulder/armpit area, and with 2XL shirts they're great on the armpit but really large everywhere else (I've bought many different brands). I'm 6 foot and 250 pounds, this shirt fits me 'just right', is very comfortable and the neck line holds it's shape. Definitely hard to beat.

Very disappointing. I ordered a two pack of shirts a few months back. They were perfect, so nice, light, and comfortable. I decided to order two more in a different color a month ago, received two shirts made of thick, stiff cotton. Not comfortable at all like the first pair I received. So I decided to order more of the first option I picked (was what I wanted all along) and received more of these awful, cheap cotton shirts. Will be returning them

I ordered 2 grey ones at the same time I ordered 2 black ones. I've had the black ones before so I know the fit, fabric, etc. The grey ones are made out of a totally different material. While they are soft, I do not like them nearly as much as the others. I have never seen a t-shirt material wrinkle as much as these. Took them out of the dryer as soon as they were done and it was like looking at a grey road map. Guess these will be designated to be worn around the house only. The black ones are great.......these, not so much.

Material is decent quality... Soft... unlike other xtemp products Ive purchased.
The shirt is useless for other than sleeping in for me... I am a little bigger, but I have bought xtemp at 2x for years. These have a better quality, yet fit worse? Funny, Ill keep trying.... I think....
