This was a sweet romance that really focused on starting over. No matter where you are in life, you can start over and be better. Hannah showed her strength in moving on with her life after her ex husband Luke nearly ruined it.
This is a very clean romance (zero spice and only a couple kisses), but it was such a sweet read. I wished it was a little longer so that we could see Hannah and Masuda together more, since there wasn't much of it.
Hannah is struggling to find her life when her husband suddenly tells her he wants a divorce — in the middle of a restaurant no less. As she leans on her best friend, Amy, and puts her life back together, she finds a few new friends. One of these may lead to more than just a casual friendship.
This novella was a fast, easy read. It’s sweet and has great character development. Hannah goes from crushed to learning how to be her own woman after years of abuse.
Thank you Tara Rune for giving me an ARC to review!
But here's why...
This story talked about the trauma that an abusive relationship an have on a person and showed a great love story as well. I plan to finish all the ones I've missed so far as this is a series..
