In addition to that, the Whatcom Devil seems to have taken up residence in town, and Conjure Ink is slated to try and figure out what that might be.
All in all, autumn is proving to be busy for January and her friends and family!
Beginning a couple of months after the end of book three, this sets up a new chapter in January’s life. She has come to terms with living in Moonshadow Bay again, and has learned a little about her ancestry. Now she is learning more about the supernatural world, and about the people living there. Her romance is going strong, her ties to the community are deepening, and she has learned a lot about magic.
An enjoyable and entertaining read for urban fantasy fans.
January spoke too soon about her summer being a quiet one. Fall hits her in full force creating much havoc and mystery. Recent house renovations have awoken a few spirits in January‘s house. Upon investigation skeletal remains have been found in a forgotten room within the house. Not to mention a mysterious creature having his way on the town. January is knee-deep in more paranormal chaos then she can shake a stick at. With The help of her coworkers at Conjure Ink and Ari, a best friend's work is never done, January is determined to get her house back and take out an urban legend before it does any more damage.
Harvest Web is a fast paced, thrilling paranormal suspense. First and foremost Ms. Galenorn’s world building is top notch and like no other. Moonshadow Bay is unique and magical. Just like the beings within. January has become a favorite character for me. She continues to develop and discover more about herself. She’s strong yet adaptive. In Harvest Moon, January finds a confidence within herself we have not seen before. She’s quick thinking and willing to learn. She knows her weaknesses and is able to admit the things in life she doesn’t want. I can relate to January in many ways allowing me to connect with her. Harvest Web brings things from the past, mysteries of forest and a whole lot of magic. Harvest Web was fantastic. Written with raunch rich details you truly feel like you are in Moonshadow Bay.
The one thing I can honestly say about HARVEST WEB is how much fun it is. The story has a few twists and turns I don’t see coming and I love knowing more about January’s family, her heritage, and her powers. With every page I flipped, I got lost within HARVEST WEB until I looked up and saw hours passed and I finished the book. Now the waiting begins as the next book, Shadow Web, is out and we see what else is in store for January and the gang.
If you enjoy a fun, action packed paranormal story with characters that grow with each book and keep the reader glued to the seat, then I highly recommend this series for you to enjoy. Each book captivates the reader and I, for one, am eager to see where Ms. Galenorn’s goes with this series.
This is an objective review and not an endorsement
We catch up with January at the end of a remodeling project at her home. Lo and behold, the remodeling leads to a haunting. January must enlist the aid of her friends, family, and business colleagues to rid her home of this haunting. In the process, she learns more history about her family and Moonshadow Bay. She also really begins to come into her power.
Everyone is dealing with the haunting, at the same time January and her colleagues are on the search for something dark and nasty and in the Mystic Woods. January works to protect the imp and other forest inhabitants and she herself is vulnerable.
Yasmine Galenorn has an amazing way of telling a story, keeping me waiting with bated breath to discover what the next turn of events will lead to. I always love the details - food, coffee, clothes, weather.
I was given an Advance Reader Copy as a gift from author without obligation. I’m providing an honest review.
Was fun and exciting . The character's are fun you feel like you have known them forever as friends.
In this book we follow January as she tries to overcome an old case that is haunting her and a new case that is stalking her! We learn more about January's past as she uncovers a mysterious room in her house with a ghost from her parents past. As January dives deeper into the mystery she learns more not only about her parents but also about herself. She is no longer ignoring her witch side but has learned to embrace it, which in turn is allowing for her to embrace her past as well. This was an excellent addition to the series and moves the plot forward. I am hoping this means we are going to be seeing what is causing all of the activity and what is coming!

This series just keeps getting better! We head back to Moonshadow Bay as Autumn begins. There is a lot of trouble in the Bay this season as January has to deal with a big case at work that could turn deadly and at home things are not what they seam as history reveals something that tilts January's view. This series is quickly becoming my favourite.
