Usually, rockstar romances are not my jam, but I thought I would give this a try. Loved it from the first page. It’s a short story, so of course I wanted more, but it was great as is. Loved the characters, the banter, the steam. So glad I found this book.

Jett is in a major slump when he walks in on his now ex-boyfriend cheating on him with one of the most scandalous men in Hollywood. Now it is up to Jett to beg Skye a music genius to help him write the song that he needs to save his career. Will these two be able to work together even though they are complete opposites.
This book was cute and quirky and it had just enough drama to keep us cozy at night. I won't get into much but I enjoyed this book and I will definitely give this author another shot. Oh, and for those who love MM there was a very spicy well written final scene for just us. IYKYK !!

Jett is not living his best life at the moment. He is in a slump career wise, his boyfriend not only cheats on him but he witnesses it. He needs an assist to write a song to give his career a jolt. He doesn't see how stylewise he and Skye are a good match as a songwriting partner but it turns out that they have more in common, both have experienced pain in the a recent relationships. They find that there is more going on than the music as they collaborate with one another. This short and satisfying look at finding new love where you least expect it.

This was my first book by A.L. Morrow and I will be back for more. I thought that this was a really sweet book. Jet and Skye were both hurting because of past relationships (same pain, different reasons) yet they are drawn to each other and can't help but be drawn to each other. These two get a really sweet second chance at love. I would recommend this book and will be back more by this author.

Jet and Skye meet after a betrayal by Jet's Ex. What starts out as a collaboration on a new song turns into them recognizing each has what the other needs. Wish the story was longer and explore this new relationship more. Good writing by Morrow.

** spoiler alert ** One is going through a bad break up, one is recovering from loosing his love. Can they make music together?

In my opinion, this was a cute read, with two people healing each other's hearts. I loved how they were willing to take that chance and put their hearts out there again. Cute, quick read!

They Say Opposites Attract

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Sometimes series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Jett is trying to navigate life again on his own after walking in on his boyfriend (now ex-boyfriend) cheating on him with a man of little value. He can’t seem to come up with any new music because of the slump (broken heart) he finds himself in thus leaving him no choice but to reach out to Skye. Skye is a music genius who writes music and Jett asks him to help him save his career but writing music for/with him. But what happens when you have two opposites who force themselves to work together to only discover they each have so much in common. They share in the same pain (different reasons behind the pain), the chemistry is so intense and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored but can they put their differences aside to work together, will they give each other a chance, and will they grab their chance at happiness?

Jet, broke up with his long time boyfriend out of dignified necessity. The love of Skye's life died two years previously. Skye felt responsible for Daniel's death. He was smothered in guilt.Jet was forced to collaborate to try to salvage his reputation. Each man dragged an anvel of emotional baggage. Can they drop the weight long enough to write an award winning song? Good story. Good vibe. Nicely done. Way too short! I recevied an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first book I’ve read by A. L. Morrow.
It focuses on Jet, a musician, and Skye, an award winning songwriter who work together to create a new hit song for Jet.
This whole short story is based around the visit where that takes place. Considering the short length of the story, I felt like a lot was covered, and we got to know a fair bit about both Jet and Skye. I would have loved it to have been longer, to see more of them together. Recommend this if you fancy a quick, short MM read with a good storyline.
