About the author

Laylah loves to write books filled with sexy, protective heroes, a bit of humor, and lots of happy ever afters (of course!). When she's not writing, she's chasing after her daughter, reading as many books as she can, and ignoring the housework.

“Her Daddy’s Jewel” is book 5 in the MC Daddies series from Laylah Roberts. Each book in this series contains a relationship with some kind of age play component. If you’ve never read a book like that, this is a good series to try because each one also has a very good, action-packed story with interesting characters, and is well-written. Please be aware that Jewel, the female lead character in the story, has experienced abuse in the past that could potentially be a trigger for some readers. That abuse doesn’t take place within this book.
If you’ve read previous books in the series, you’ll probably remember both Jewel and Jason. Both of them have a background full of secrets. To describe Jewel’s past as difficult is a huge understatement. She has survived the kind of experiences that nightmares are made of. Now she’s putting her life back in the hands of the man who made it a living hell, because he’s threatening the most important person in her life. Quiet Jason has been interested in her for the longest time, but he’s been taking it slow and giving her space. When she goes missing, there’s literally nothing he won’t do to find her. He has a lot of hidden depth, and a difficult past of his own. This is an intense story and an emotional one. Jason rescues Jewel from the darkness in her life, and she rescues him right back.
There is some solid humor scattered throughout the book, which provides a good balance for the serious parts. Jewel isn’t really a little … she’s described as a ‘middle’ which was a term I hadn’t heard before. She’s also a few years older than Jason, but that’s completely a non-issue. He is absolutely her perfect match. This book engaged my attention from the very start and kept it all the way through. In addition to seeing some characters you’ll recognize if you read any of the other stories, we’re introduced to Jason’s family, and I’m hoping they’ll each get their own story because their characters are so good!
Jewel has been in the background in the previous books in this series. she
always came across as a tough cookie, but what she needed was a daddy
to protect and convince her that she was worthy of his love and to be his
baby girl. Jason was not the even-tempered man he appeared to be. There
was a darkness lurking beneath the surface that surprised me, but he was
loyal and determined to protect Jewel.
Both Jewel and Jason had damaged pasts that they had locked away, but
the past had come back to haunt Jewel. Her only option was to return to
the evil that had once been her life to protect the people she loved. What
she least expected was for Jason to be the one to rescue her and declare his
love. She tried to fight her feelings, but he had awakened a part of her that
had fantasized about having a dominant man in her life. Jason was one very
persistent man. He wormed his way into Jewel’s heart, giving her the chance
of happiness that she deserved.
There was so many subtle moments in this story that captured the depths
of emotions between Jewel and Jason. The inclusion of all of the secondary
character added depth to the storyline, and no book would be complete
without the addition of the Fox. I just love this series and look forward to
the each and every book.
One fourth of the way through I knew who the Fox was! If you have read any of this series you know who he is. Half way through I realized I had the wrong guy and decided who it really was. Three quarters of the way through I found out that I was wrong again. I finished the book
and I still don't know who psycho Fox is. That Laylah is so darn tricky, she keeps you guessing.
Laylah Roberts is a fantastic author. This series of big, bad biker dudes is just so great. Each time there is new book coming out I have to re-read the entire series. So bring it on Laylah, I am so ready for the next story.
Jason aka Pike may have been younger but he was very much the dominate in charge one the relationship. How much he loved and cared for Jewel really got me in all the feels.
I also really enjoyed that Jewel was older a Little, we don't see a lot of those or at least I don't in books so it was a nice change. I also really liked that she was a very strong woman who had for the longest time taken care of everyone else around her. And to watch her learn to love and to trust and to give over control was something I really could relate to and appreciate.
This was a great addition to the series and I cannot wait for more!

I love these dominant MC daddies so strong caring and sexy. I love all of laylah's daddy Dom books.
I like the way that they are all connected that the family feel and familiarity runs through out all the series , from haven to sanctuary, the MC and the harem of daddies.
I always pre order, they always pop on to my kindle at around 00.30 and of course my kindle in forms me!! But who needs sleep anyway it's so over rated.😂😂. I much prefer a night (morning) with a sexy daddie Dom than sleep.

No real potential triggers although there is reference to abuse delicately written.
There are some sex scenes and some swearing.
The characterisation as ever from the author, is great. Although each book in the series is DD/lg it's not heavy handed, and each character holds their own individual personalities, but I must admit some of the dialogue is similar in all of the books but it's not a biggie.
The plotline is a continuation of the theme from the series and we get another peek at the Fox. I would love to read his story!
I'm not into the BDSM genre, nor age play, but I really enjoy this series.
If you like the genre I can recommend the series.
