Her Noble Protector: A Navy SEAL Romance (Night Storm Book 7) Kindle Edition
Finally home in Arizona, Lisa Garcia was scared all the time. She jumped at every sound and shadow, too scared to even leave her home. How could someone who used to ride the rapids and trek the wilds of Alaska be reduced to this?
Navy SEAL Raiden Sato had forgotten more missions than he could remember. But this last one would stick in his mind forever. Lisa Garcia. How could he ever forget her? Tough, strong, compassionate, beautiful, the woman was a force of nature. But Raiden couldn’t help remembering how she’d been when they’d parted. She’d seemed broken. He needed to know how she was now.
When Raiden took leave to check on Lisa in Arizona, he was shocked at the woman he found. The kick-ass wilderness guide was gone, replaced by a woman still mired in trauma. She was positive that someone was out to get her. Determined to help her, Raiden was positive that he could heal her with time, patience, and perhaps even love.
But what happens when Lisa is right, and somebody really is out to get her?
This is an action, adventure, romantic, stand-alone novel.

Lisa instantly captures Raiden’s attention among the prisoners in the Mexican jungle, not because she has been tortured and is severely injured, but because she is a warrior! She gave it all she had to protect the students under her care against the monsters that hijacked their bus. Raiden is the medic that treated her injuries and could immediately see that she is a tough woman, beaten, but tough. He makes a connection with her as she is transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries and his connection remains after she goes home to Arizona.
He questions that connection when he discovers that Lisa is alone and holed up in her home, not leaving, even for food. His patience is enduring as he sits outside in a chair on her patio for days, quietly talking to her, reassuring her she is not alone, and he is there for her. This man! He could have just as easily left after seeing that she is alive, but he knows she is not well all by herself.
I love how Raiden, a Navy SEAL, selflessly takes his leave from his Night Storm missions to make sure Lisa has the physical and mental support she needs to move on from her ordeal in Mexico. He understands the trauma she went through and how tough she used to be and can be again. He also knows that Lisa needs to see and talk to Cami (Camilla), his teammate, Nick’s significant other, who was also among the people kidnapped with Lisa. Cami has had the love and support she needed to get beyond the trauma as well as seeing a professional therapist.
In addition to being there for Lisa, Raiden is also a strong support and presence in his family. He steps up to attempt to straighten out his cousin, Leif, who has gotten involved in selling grades to his classmates. Leif is a smart kid and has a bright future, but if he gets caught doing these illegal things, the consequences of his actions will ruin his future and Raiden can’t let that happen if he can help it. Raiden intends to teach his cousin the error of his ways. I love Raiden’s sense of family and his dedication to their well being. He immediately thinks of the safety of his parents, who take Lisa in when she moves back East so he and her can spend some time getting to know each other. Members of the drug running group that kidnapped Lisa and Cami want revenge and have come to the United States where they are hunting Lisa. Raiden makes sure his family is safe and Lisa has 24 hour protection while the Night Storm team and the government go after the drug runners.
This story is intense from the very beginning with Raiden being on Lisa’s support team continuing right through to the monsters hunting Lisa. Their journey together knows a lot of emotions as well as pride in Lisa gaining her confidence back. Raiden shows characteristics of a man raised well by loving and supportive parents and his own well rounded and caring personality. Great story and a fabulous addition to the Night Storm series!
Lisa is not only dealing with all the stuff that happened in Mexico, but old nightmares and traumas are rearing their head. Raiden is kicking himself for not checking up on her sooner. There is someone out there with unfinished business, and they mean business.
I really enjoyed this a lot. Raiden is so patient and kind, which is exactly what Lisa is needing. Lisa is an amazing woman going through a hard time, but watching her get back on her feet is inspiring. Very well done!!
Lisa is not dealing well at all. Between what happened in Mexico, she is dreaming about her past. She is not taking care of herself.
Raiden is trying to get through to Lisa and then she is kidnapped. They figure Maria is after her for killing her man in Mexico.
Raiden has convinced Lisa to stay with his parents and then they figure out they are compromised.
Lisa is somewhere safe until they are not. Will Raiden get there in time?
There's a ton of emotions in here, along with action and suspense that kept me glued to the end.

At times this story was heart-breaking, it will pull at all your emotions but ultimately leave you with hope. You'll want to wrap Lisa up tight and hold her close and well Raiden is just everything you'd want - he's one of the good guys, a beautiful person and definitely a keeper.
Great story, Caitlyn O'Leary never disappoints me and I thoroughly recommend you read this.
Just when we think all is well, another event comes along with people from the past. This book was well written. I loved the characters and Raiden’s caring nature. you can empathise with the Lisa and Raiden and what they have and are going through. There are loads of twists and turns to the story. I love catching up with past characters from the other stories. this series is well worth the read.
Raiden helps Lisa with her PTSD and other events in the book, what a kind caring yet protective guy!
This is a well written book, you empathise with the characters and what they are going through, especially with all the twists and turns. It was great to catch u with other members of this and other teams plus their partners along the way.
Well written, holds your attention and takes you away from the burdens of everyday life
The characters are a great match for each other, Raiden is exactly what Lisa needs where her world is crumbling. I was hooked from the start.
Thoroughly enjoyed each book so far, ready for book 8 now.
So glad I tried book 1. Have read them all in about 2 weeks, can't put them down till I finish each one.
