An investigator with decades of experience, Michael La Chiana brings viewers along on an adventure to the Country Squire Restaurant, Inn & Winery in Warsaw, North Carolina to share what it's like to participate in an actual paranormal investigation. He does this without any of the distracting, overproduced sound effects and jump scares that you would normally see on mainstream TV paranormal shows. At times the footage is shot from the hip, raw and unedited so you can have a front row seat to hear and see what’s happening clearly. Visual evidence presented is explained thoroughly and audio clips are repeated 3 times for the viewer to really hear them. The original music is also a very nice addition. If you are looking for a different kind of paranormal investigation show, give this one a try.

For the more diligent fans of paranormal investigations, not just the ghost hunters, Michael La Chiana and his fellow researchers really do a great service to the craft. The show is done more in documentary style, and you get everything, the nuts and bolts, along with the very clear results of their labors. I mean, I'm a bit of a skeptic and I was really surprised by what they found! I look forward to watching more!

Not the worst I've seen but pretty boring. Local investigator groups in NC area looking into a local restaurant. Still photos, phone conversations and uninteresting stories from staff make this longer than it had to be just to hear a few EVPs and see blurry images. The kind of amateur video that belongs more on youtube rather than amazone prime.

The sound was so bad on this that it was unwatchable. They did not filter out the constant background noise, so it was just a good guess as to what they were talking about.

Having such passionate researchers all work together to document and share what they have experienced at The Squire is amazing!! It is also refreshing to see such unity in the paranormal field these days!!

Really enjoyed this show! It was truly an honor and pleasure to be a part of this show and investigate such a remarkable location as the Squire Inn. I had such a wonderful time. Michael is passionate, dedicated and genuine in the paranormal field and it certainly portrays in the show and that is very exciting and most refreshing!

No need for over the top production here. The passion and experience of these investigators shines through. You are really taken on a journey through time and will find yourself invested in the stories of the spirits, locations, and it’s caretakers.

I have been researching the paranormal for several years before retiring. That being said, there are hundreds of shows out there on television, but this film takes the cake!

With its raw and historical footage, Journey through the past blows the completion away. It was very well written and produced and rejuvenated my faith in paranormal tv. I do not watch the mainstream paranormal shows, and finally have a place to go to both learn and be entertained.
