This is Book 4 of the series, and it won’t make much sense unless you start with the first book and read the series in sequence. Book 5 is the finale, showdown, and resolution The Gray Rabbit assignment fails when the rogue Rowena was sent to kill looks like her twin, announces she is a half-sister, and escapes. Rowena is pregnant and subject to extreme hormonal swings. She has a girl, Samantha, who gets witchy powers from infancy. A terrible tragedy kills Craig, leading to a broken heart for both Ro and Sam. Artie and Fred try to console her, but she’s devastated. Then she finds out the Gray Rabbit, whom she was supposed to assassinate, was responsible, and so begins a hunt for vengeance. The situation gets completely tangled in time and becomes quite confusing. She finds out more about the Gray Rabbit and her husband in a surprise revelation.

I love this series. LOVE.

However.

WTF is Rowena doing? I knew as soon as dude said his wife died, he meant Fiona. Why wouldn’t Rowena twig to it quickly? Especially after Fred was so pointed about not liking him?

It felt super out of character, but aside from that, good book in a good series! I can’t wait to read the finale.

A very creative premise full of twists, turns, intrigue, love and loss. Worthy of fans of "Docter Who" or "Sliders". I didn't know this was book 4 until I had already started it, but I will be sure to go back and catch what I missed, then continue with the rest of Rowena and the rest of the gang. All of the characters are interesting and no one is completely black hat or white hat as they try to manuver the threads of time for the best outcome possible. Even though I haven't read parts 1 to 3 yet I really want to know how this resolves. I hope they can figure out a way to have their HEA.
This series will take a serious continuity spread sheet to keep all the when, wheres, and who did it straight. Adventure, clever ploting and great writing mechanics so as not to throw readers out of the story because of typos.

HIDDEN TIME is the fourth book in the Prime Time of Life series. I highly recommend reading them all and in the order of release for maximum understanding and enjoyment.

You would think with all of the time traveling back to this year and then the present. Back to that year and then the present. Changing little things that make a difference. Don’t change something that you’re supposed to, and the consequences are big… Charles Manson big! You would think that might get confusing for the reader, but superb continuity and writership kept me intrigued and informed.

By the way, that’s the type of time-traveling witch that Rowena is. Her mother before her was. Her grandmother… and so on back the matriarchal line. Now Rowena is 40, pregnant, and letting Cheesecake (aka Craig Ferguson) know that he’s about to be the father of the next time-traveling witch. That’s where the story begins.

This is heartbreaking, romantic, suspenseful, and made me think. We’re not all good. We’re not all bad. We’re all trying to live the best lives we can make happen.

I read for the romance. Ro and Craig are synonymous with love – right next to Romeo and Juliet, Cleopatra and Anthony, Johnny Cash and June Carter. Sigh!

Good but not my fav

I love this series but this one wasnt my fav. While there were a few surprises and I always adore Ro-Ro and Freds banter some of the storyline was a bit hard to keep straight. It was still a great book. Total cliffhanger at the end. Its gona be hard to wait for the next chapter. I have to admit, one of the surprises had me crying a little.
