How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

The author writes books for young Francophone readers but they are also ideal for foreign learners. The stories are well crafted and interesting as,after all, to learn your attention must be held. The use of good spoken language in the stories is a great tool for reinforcing the patterns of French for those who are not in a French speaking area. Even as an adult with many years of French study and familiarity I read them all for the stated reasons.

I bought this and many other books in French to supplement my college classes. So far, I've read through these a little and find them easy to understand and practice with. Paired with two French-learning apps and my French textbook, I think I have the next three semesters of French in the bag!

The stories in this and other books by the author have been very helpful as I learn French. They describe human relationships, emotions, humor, and pathos; topics that are seldom included in introductory language courses. They are excellent stories to share with a child and especially with a child learning French.

Wonderful Books for Students of French
Reviewed in Canada on February 5, 2020
As an adult, intermediate student of French, I can't say enough great things about this book and others in the series. Marc Thil has the ability to create simple but engaging stories that capture the imagination. I love the way he infuses his stories with kindness, the value of friendship and a sense of adventure.
The grammar, verb tenses and structure are ideal for French students of all ages, without ever feeling condescending. In fact, I've learned as much from these books as I have from any class.
Now that I've finished all the titles, I just wish Marc would write some more... and soon!!! :-)
