About the authors
For as long as I can remember, I've loved telling and soaking up stories. At the age of six, I was told somebody got paid for writing books and movies and television shows; I abandoned my previous ambition (beachcomber), and became a writer.
I've had stories in anthologies, on-line and print publications, including Marion Zimmer Bradley's Sword & Sorceress anthologies 22 and 23, on coffee cans, and the wall of an Indian restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky.
Small town life agrees with me. I like the interconnectedness of everything and everybody. I try to remember, in my books and stories, that no one exists in isolation, but in a web of connections.
Most of my work is fantasy, science fiction and/or mystery, though I write anything else that suits the story and character.
T. Lee Harris is a scribbler of the lowest order. Not only does she pen lies about people who don't exist, but she draws pictures of them as well. Harris has also been known to aid and abet others by putting their scribblings into book form and even going so far as to devise covers for these publications. She claims she went to school to learn these things, but that shouldn't be held against anyone.
Harris is, in turn, aided and abetted by others in her assaults against literature. Among these accomplices are Per Bastet Publications, who have shamelessly published her untruths about an ancient Egyptian scribe and a magic temple cat and most recently spread her prevarications about a former football player and a 200 year-old vampire turned international law enforcement agents. Also implicated are Untreed Reads, who have promulgated her lies about a retired spy who keeps getting mixed up in other people's business, and the Southern Indiana Writers' Group -- possibly the worst offenders of all -- who have repeatedly permitted her to commit her acts of literary vandalism with their Indian Creek Anthology Series.
There are suspicions that Harris is committing another novel or two, but this has yet to be confirmed.
The Southern Indiana Writers Group has been more-or-less together since 1992. We began meeting monthly in a conference room in a local hospital. We now meet weekly to exchange information and expertise on everything from computers to poetry. The group also serves as a critique forum (in the same sense that a pack of wolves serves as food critics). Membership is limited, but visitors are welcome, and have been known to fit in so well they become members against their better judgment.
Somewhere along the way, Dirk Griffin was bitten by the Renaissance Man bug. Among his many hats are singer/ songwriter, composer, playwright, actor, photographer, digital artist, father, grandfather, technology whisperer, and general ne'er do well. Some of his music can be found at https://soundcloud.com/ dirk-griffin. Additional writings can be found in various volumes of the Indian Creek Anthologies by the Southern Indiana Writers' Group http://southernindianawriters.com/? page_id = 172. Artwork for home or clothing items are available at storefronts on both http://ddgryphon.redbubble.com and http://www.zazzle.com/ store/ ddgryphon.
