This movie was a good clean family movie and well worth watching. The acting was superior and the storyline was entertaining and interesting. I guess the people that gave it a low rating wanted to see sex and nudity you will find neither in the wonderful holiday movie.

Watch something else. Even the cameos by "where are they now" actors couldn't save this movie, although they were the only ones who could act in this movie. I love Christmas movies and I love the fact that they are cheesy. I just couldn't buy into these 2 being a couple by the end of the movie. Maybe they could start dating, but getting engaged? Already being in love? I couldn't buy it. I could barely buy them even being friends by the end of this movie and I really tried. I was also disappointed in Shelly Long's performance. She is usually a pretty good actress, but she was horrible in this. George Hamilton was better than she was and despite his good looks and loving him in Love at First Bite, I admit he is not a great actor. He is just fun to watch most of the time.

Seriously, this isn't even a B movie. This is a D movie. The acting is very stilted with only glimpses of real acting and the story is never flushed out even a little.

I'm sorry to say it, but I really felt the need to warn people away from this movie. Spend your time watching a different Christmas movie.

So terrible. Bad acting, bad script. The guy trying to sound like a surfer dude. The premise was somewhat creative, but let's not get carried away. The characters aren't likable so you don't care what happens to them. I give a whole lot of leeway when it comes to cheesy Christmas films, but this one is unpalatable. If you're going to watch it, put it on mute and read the captions.

One of the most fun Christmas romances I have ever seen. The dog was the star and he more than lived up to it. The male lead is no award winner but he was quite good. The female lead was excellent. Very cute with excellent facial expressions and body language. The move was just plain fin and enjoyable, and I loved every minute of it.

In spite of having some well-known folks in it, even their acting was so stilted and cliched it was cringe-worthy. Not even the dog did anything to save this. The storyline was a mess and too many things just got glossed over, like in this day and age the police are going to overlook a jailbreak. And they would never have been to jail for having too clean a driving record in the first place. Don't report the RV stolen? Seriously? This barely makes a comic book story, let alone an actual movie.

This was a top drawer movie. I'd sit right back down and watch it again. Great casting! Lots of famous supporting actors. Just wonderful writing and acting. I really enjoyed this. It's clean, funny, it's going in my permanent Christmas collection.

The plot is a cute idea, but it's slow moving and full of cliche's. There are a few original ideas, but they are outweighed by a lot of cheesiness. The actors are talented, but the script doesn't transition well. The movie however was clean, had sweet jokes and a nice conclusion. I wouldn't watch it again, but I don't feel I completely wasted the time spent watching it.

Two bickering malcontents take a slick marketing cross country road trip with a dog of some fame. No surprise, they find instant love along the way. It’s an impossible romance not a bit believable. But the dog was fabulous.
