In case you missed the main gaslight moments ...

I'll help point-out a few things.
1. Asian black lesbian relationship
2. Subtle insertion of transvestite actors (Wendy) plus a few noticeables in the general crowd.
Why am I pointing this out, I must be racist/homophobic, right? Label me what you will, I really don't care anymore, what I do care about, is drawing attention to the decrepit playpen that is Hollywood. That destructive force who INSIST on warping and twisting our moral world, into the world THEY believe is righteous. The gaslighting of masses to believe their twisty-brain "reality", and they accomplish this by over playing a leftist-ideology into storylines, presenting it as "normal", and do it over and over and over again, until one day, we all just accept their "reality" as our reality. They do this to push an agenda of "acceptance", because they believe the more we see roles written and cast in such a way, in every movie, TV show, commercial, we'll just shut-up and buy-in to a degenerate destructive dysmorphia in the form of an ideology. Because if every story is told with this backdrop to gaslight the masses, and the destruction of the family is easier, the persuasion of our children into all of it is smoother, as our children are becoming well versed on how to question their gender (thanks to their 3rd grade teacher), and such as these stories will tell, it's all just perfectly "normal". It is not.
Brace yourselves folks, this is just one in the upcoming Stereotype Group packed nonsense they're going to throw at us, they're coming hard, and I shouldn't be the only one out here pointing directly at it, and calling it all out.

Mind numbingly awful

Just awful. Terrible overacting (or should I say non-acting) by the lead Janelle Monae. She seems have one facial expression, which is the one you normally see on someone who is severely constipated.

The music is almost unbearable and the faux Hitchcock camera work is agonizingly slow. I made it through two episodes and now I give up. What a disappointment! Season one was awesome! This is anything but.

Don't know what it is about these Amazon writers. Does Jeff only hire 15 year olds to write the Amazon Original shows?
Such bad writing. You almost feel sorry for the actors.
First season was bad but this one takes the cake.

Homecoming hits Home run with season 2

Season 2 is a different story from season 1. Does it feel rushed? Yes. But thanks to Jonalle Monae, the thrill is still palpable. I guess you have to come into this with an open mind. I truly enjoy it. Great second season.

I am disappoints by most fmthe review for this program.
I found it thoughtful and interesting. Perhaps, our society has dumbed down so much that if there aren't any cgi effects or violence it doesn't make for a good show.
I beg to differ... This is smart, intriguing and Julia Roberts is stunning!
I hope to see more seasons of this show!

Season 2 through new eyes -- radiant, smart, entertaining!

Love it...Love everything Janelle Monae does -- she's thrills, her range ever evolving on TV and Film and Music. (Funny, I feel like she must be a truly kind and compassionate person)
The series radiates perspectives, season 2 genius into itself & interconnected in surprising ways with season 1 -- lights up things I did not see before. Together the seasons are a kaliedescope in motion, intelligent, beautiful, entertaining. I loved season 1, so I decided not to compare with season 2. I watched season 2 with fresh eyes... Relaxed into the Dream/Nightmare/Fable otherwise known as the real. I love it. Strong, eerie wonderful writing, direction, production, and all actors, new and some I just had to see evolve from season 1 and so there they are! Challenges my mind all the way!

Not great but not horrible...

Ok, so the first season was really good. It had slow parts but overall Julia Roberts was phenomenal in it. This season, well, it's not so great, but it's not horrible either. The first couple of episodes are pretty damn slow which was kind of a bummer because the episodes are only like 25-30min. Second, not sure what is up with some of the music played, I assume it is to add to the suspense, but honestly it was annoying as all hell. The acting is pretty sub-par. Some people mentioned Janelle Monáe's acting not being good, but honestly, I thought she did a really good job. so go figure. Oh, and Joan Cusak has a small role in it and I love love love her. So it was a treat to see her in this show. Honestly, I wish she had a larger role. Either way, this season is not so great. I won't give any spoilers but this season builds onto season 1. Overall 3 out of 5 stars.

Voiceover? Again?!

I loved the first season. Totally bingeworthy... until they started the Voiceover nonsense. What? Can't figure out how to tell the story visually and in dialogue?
Now - ready to get over the last two episodes of Season One and watch the first episode of Season Two... and now it's another VO?
Obnoxious.
Sorry. Next.
