Good Book, More About the History than The Theft

I love this book as a fan learning about the whole history of the sonics. However the title makes one think it’s like SonicsGate where you hear about how the team was stolen. It’s really much more about loving the sonics. So if you love the sonics like I do and love the history, definitely get it; if you’re only thinking about buying a book about how the team was stolen criminally and unethically this will not satisfy that most likely. It should’ve been named something like “sonics love: from humble beginnings to painful end to the love that lingers”. I have a lot of respect for the author who put this together, I certainly did not accomplish what he did. I appreciate him working so hard during the pandemic to make this happen, I learned a lot about my favorite team ever ❤️💪🏻🔥🔥🔥😎😎

This book brought back so many memories of my youth and channelled all the emotions I remember having with my dad as we watched the magic of the Glove, Kemp, Detlef, and team at the Key and the emotions of learning about our beloved team being ripped away. This book did a fantastic job at portraying the history of the many iconic players, instrumental coaches and other supportive individuals who helped shape Seattle into the basketball city that it deserves to be. This is a must read for any Sonics-loving (or Seattle sports-loving) fiend!
