Good quality, but small. Perfect for 2-year old!

At first, I was disappointed with the size of this horse hopper, but my granddaughter (1 and a half) absolutely loves it!! She sits and bounces on it all the time. She holds the ears and bounces as we read her stories. This horse is made of good-quality materials (nice thick rubber), and I especially like that it included the pump! Although one might say this guy looks more like a donkey than a horse- either way it was a hit. Bought this for my son’s 2nd birthday because he enjoyed playing with one at another party. He was totally excited to have a trusty ‘steed’ of his own. He has been using it daily as well as his 6 & 5 year old siblings who also have taken a liking to it. The material seems sturdy and stretchy. Didn’t notice any unusual smell from the material which can be present with items like this. The pump worked well and so far we have sprung an air leak despite all the use. We purchased the red pony and haven’t had issues with color rubbing off on our carpet or tile

Wow this thing inflates and deflates in an instant! I think I fully inflate it in about 20 seconds with the included pump, and because the bottom closes with a plug (several replacement plugs are included too) deflating takes all of 5 seconds. I would say this horse is on the smaller side- just about perfect for the age range around 18 months - 2 years. You can't get much "bounce" from it because it is a bit too unstable in the base and the feet don't help keep it upright very much, but light bouncing is fine and my little boy likes to bounce and "tumble" off of it, for some reason. The ears are a little on the soft side, so there is limited use for them as a spot for kids to "hold on", but they are still usually the only place for little hands to hold onto. My kids enjoy it and I'm happy that it is easier to store than a standard sit-and-ride toy when deflated. The floor-to-seat measurement is around 10 inches.

I got this for my 18 month old and she drags it everywhere with her. Her legs aren't long enough to bounce the whole thing but she still has a blast. Her and my 3 year old will play for hours with it. Its not always bouncing. That donkey has been a stepping still, a princesses horse, a dog, a cat, a dragon and much more. Very much worth it. If the sit to far forward it tips forward. This has not slowed them down, they find it hilarious and will do it on purpose. My three year old says its bucking them off. Lol
