About the authors
Mark Allan Gunnells loves to tell stories. He has since he was a kid, penning one-page tales that were Twilight Zone knockoffs. He likes to think he has gotten a little better since then. He loves reader feedback, and above all he loves telling stories. He lives in Greer, SC, with his husband Craig A. Metcalf.
Zoltán Komor lives in Hungary. He writes surreal short stories and which have been published in several literary magazines (Caliban Online, Drabblecast, The Phantom Drift, Gone Lawn, Bizarro Central, etc.). His first English book, titled Flamingos in the Ashtray: 25 Bizarro Short Stories, was released by Burning Bulb Press.
Christian Laforet lives in LaSalle, Ontario with his wife and two daughters. His works include the short story collections The Space Between Houses and No Light Tomorrow, the novella, Sugar's Last Dance (found in the All These Crooked Streets anthology), as well as a bevy of short stories published in various anthologies. When not writing books, he spends an exorbitant amount of time watching horror movies and playing video games.
Kevin J. Kennedy is a horror author, editor, and anthologist. He is also the owner of KJK Publishing.
He lives in the heart of Scotland with his wife and his three cats, Carlito, Ariel and Luna. He can be found on Facebook most days if you want to chat with him.
Veronica Smith is a lover of all things horror. Whether she’s reading, writing, or watching; that’s what you will find her doing when she isn’t at her day job. She treats every day as if it was Halloween and hasn’t yet been fired for decorating her office as if it’s a haunted house. She’s been writing since 2014, when her first short story was published, and works on several projects simultaneously. She lives in Katy with her husband of over thirty years.

A Splatterpunk-Nominated Author, Steve Stred lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with his wife, son and their staffy, Cocoa. His work has been described as haunting, bleak and is frequently set in the woods near where he grew up. He’s been fortunate to appear in numerous anthologies with some truly amazing authors.
A proud co-founder of the LOHF Writer's Grant, he is also an Active Member of the HWA.

Some of the stories are good stories and are very scary.
A small cryptic note for each story:
The House in the Ground by author, Christian Laforet: Dead or not? Is the house haunted or is it something else?
Satan's Apocalypse by Kevin J. Kennedy: If you want to take control of your destiny you sometimes have to do whatever it takes to get there even if it is bad.
In A Pale, Rainy Morning by Ramsey Campbell & Nicola Lombardi: What really lies within the rain? Something is moving....
Haunting at Stump Lake by Mark Allan Gunnells: A haunting that goes awry when an apparition appears.
Road Rage Revenge by Veronica Smith: Be careful who you cut off in traffic! Road rage that goes to extreme lengths....
Tendrils by Steve Stred: A house that eats its occupants.....
Radiator Demon Bitches of Hell by Zoltan Komor: If women were radiators.....
All in all I really loved all the stories as they range from hauntings to bizarro horror! Out of all the stories only three authors I have read before and everyone else is new to me. I will be pursuing the new authors as it seems there are quite a few books out by some of them. I am always impressed by author, Kevin J. Kennedy as he is able to bring together some amazing authors in all of his anthologies and I have always found new authors to explore by just reading his books. Giving this book five "Fun Filled Spooky" stars!
Included within these pages are: “The House in the Ground” by Christian Laforet, “Satan’s Apocalypse” by Kevin J. Kennedy, “In A Pale, Rainy Morning” by Ramsey Campbell & Nicola Lombardi, “Haunting at Stump Lake” by Mark Allan Gunnells, “Road Rage Revenge” by Veronica Smith, “Tendrils” by Steve Stred, “Radiator Demon - Bitches of Hell” by Zoltan Komor.
Between these pages, you will find tales of hauntings, revenge, parasitic entities, struggles during the apocalypse and a bizarro version of hell.
If you haven’t checked this series out yet, and you enjoy horror of any type, I highly recommend that you add this to your TBR right away!
Full disclosure: I was given a free copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. This did not affect my rating in any way.
This one was another home run for me! I had so much fun reading this as I loved each of the unsettling tales! Yet again, there are tales for everyone in here from pure horror to simply odd horror, to even the heartwarming spooky tale.
I highly recommend checking this one out!
