About the authors
Mike was a cop for almost 12 years, but for the last 14 years, he’s been teaching Military, Law Enforcement, and Bodyguards high speed, tactical, and off-road driving as well as hand-to-hand Combatives and Blade tactics. He enjoys martial arts and has been a practitioner since 1989 of various styles. Filipino blade arts are his favorite. Since he was a teenager, he’s loved reading, writing, and watching movies, particularly in the horror and sci-fi genre. He’s also been a prolific reader of theology and has dabbled in philosophy as well. He has a beautiful, smart wife who is amazingly supportive and a son and daughter who are both graduated. His babies now are a German Shepherd named Ziva, a Daddy's girl who loves to play... even when he’s writing, and a Border Collie mix named Joey “The Bandit” who will steal anything and everything he can, even the toys right out of Ziva’s mouth. Mike is a lover of music, as well, and it is an integral part of his writing ritual.
Kevin J. Kennedy is a horror author, editor, anthologist and poet. He is also the owner of KJK Publishing.
He lives in the heart of Scotland with his wife and his thee cats, Carlito, Ariel and Luna. He can be found on Facebook most days if you want to chat with him.
From the heart of Scotland, Natasha Sinclair has independently published, compiled and edited collections, and contributed to several anthologies.
She supports other creatives by proofreading, editing, and creating promotional material via Word Refinery, linked on her site, ClanWitch.com
Her writing is often woven with horror, sex and psychological elements. She is opposed to the almost incessant human desire to label and box off art. Art is unrestrained freedom.
She is a member of The Horror Writers Association (HWA) and The Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).
Out-with writing and editing, she's an avid gig-goer, reader, vegan, home-educating, nature-loving, adopter of wonky animals.
Born with one extra finger and two extra toes (yeah, no joke), Douglas Hackle received a B.A. in English Literature many moons ago, abandoned academia to pursue a career in copywriting and editing, and lost some marbles along the way. He lives in Northeast Ohio with his wife, son, and dogs. He is the author of three short novels (Zoltergeist the Poltergeist, TERROR MANNEQUIN and The Hottest Gay Man Ever Killed in a Shark Attack) and two short story collections (Clown Tear Junkies and Is Winona Ryder Still with the Dude from Soul Asylum? and Other LURID Tales of TERROR and DOOM!!!). A selection of his short fiction is also collected in the Bizarro Starter Kit - Red Edition from Eraserhead Press.
TERROR MAN. TERROR FACE. TERROR CLOWN. TERROR CHILD. TERROR MAN. TERROR HOUSE. TERROR SHARK. TERROR MOUSE. TERROR ANVIL. TERROR TATER TOTS. Tra la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kyle M. Scott is the author of five novels and three collections, all within the horror genre. He lives in Largs, Scotland, with his long-suffering partner, an arrogant cat, and an over-active imagination.
He enjoys chatting with his readers, and can regularly be found on social media, despite his somewhat tenuous grasp on technology.

“That Song I Sing” by Kyle M. Scott is a tale of extreme psychological horror with a macabre and twisted ending. This story is reminiscent of the works of Edgar Allen Poe, with a modern flair, of course.
“And the Dead Shall Perish” by Mike Duke is the horrifying tale of a teen boy caught in a vampire apocalypse. Duke’s gift for characterization and terror shines through in this story.
“Are You the Girl with Ribbons in Her Hair?” by Douglas Hackle is the stuff of nightmares and gave me nightmares. This extreme horror story defies reason and sanity.
“Soft White Underbelly” by Tim Curran reads like Stephen King dipped in Edward Lee, with all the best attributes of both. In what way? King’s way of men bringing about the horrors they find themselves in, and the horrors are something Lee would inflict upon them.
“Steerage Rats” by Natasha Sinclair is dark prose turned gruesome terror. It is a complex story of deceit on many levels with a sprinkle of sci-fi horror and garnish of bloody creature horror.
“Blood for Blood” by Zoey Xolton is a story in two parts. The first part is really stand alone in its depth and presentation, a story of historic horrors of humanity. The second part takes the story to another level of completion, a dark imagining of what follows such beliefs and action.
“Book Magic” by Kevin J. Kennedy is a bibliophilic horror told in the first person. This one, of course, hit home with me and sent my mind racing.
The Pink Edition is an excellent installment in The Horror Collection series.
