Review

Dec 08, 2020 Zain rated it it was amazing Shelves: collection, horror-thriller, read-2020, series, short-stories Stupendous!

I've read a lot of books and horror collections that are pretty good, butseldom find any that are great. This is one of the great ones.

There are five stories in this collection and each one is great, greater and the greatest!

For .99 cents, this is a great buy.A Goodreads review
Nov 29, 2020 Peter rated it it was amazing Shelves: horror Wow, Billy Wellsreally hit big with this five story anthology. LOL In the first story"Surprise! Surprise" we see a birthday surprise that absolutely deserves the use of surprise. What has Gregory done? In "The Tomb" we seeBrian's last chance to hold his job at the museum. Will he and hisfather survive the curse of the pharao? "Something in the Dark" islurking for Ivy. Can a shrink get rid of the monster once and for all?"The Taxidermist" is an especially sinister story about a taxidermisttaking care of an avid and proud hunter. Last and least you'll meet "The Clown at Midnight". A horror fan gives the correct answer to a quiz and a clown promises to drop by a t midnight... Billy Wells is a truestoryteller in the tradition of the cryptkeeper. This is true oldfashioned and brilliant horror if there ever was one. Nasty, obscene, satirical, stunning. Highly recommended!A Goodreads review

I have written 238 short stories so far in my quest to exceed Ray Bradbury's 400 short stories. It goes without saying it will be an uphill climb.

Since reviews are the life's blood of every author, I would greatly appreciate a review of any of my books on Amazon.com and hold anyone who does in high esteem for all eternity.

Stephen King is my favorite horror writer, and I admire what King has accomplished in the horror genre in terms of movies made from his considerable volume of work.

My channels on YouTube have amassed 20,000 subscribers and over 10,400,000 views, mostly from my "Dead Celebrities" videos.

I love movies and had seen over 1,500 by the age of 13 when there was snow on 13 channels after midnight.

My favorite horror movies are Halloween, Night of the Living Dead, and The Evil Dead. My favorite movie is Frank Capra's It's A Wonderful Life with James Stewart. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, Lawrence Block, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, John Sandford, Michael Connelly, Robert B. Parker, Clive Cussler, James Patterson, Jeffery Deaver, Dean Koontz, Edgar Allen Poe, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, James Lee Burke, Lee Child, & Jack Kilborn/Konrath.
