Hot SEAL, Silent Knight: A Hope City Crossover Novel Kindle Edition
Forced to take his 'Use or Lose' vacation days, Romeo Platoon Leader Ted (Bear) Black begrudgingly heads home to Hope City and all the nonsense surrounding Christmas. He'd rather stay in San Diego and spend his downtime working, especially when he's unexpectantly reunited with the woman who was the star of the worst date he'd ever experienced.
Noel Laurent is heading home for Christmas. Her life in San Diego is lacking one thing. Snow! Christmas is the absolute most magical time of the year, and she can't miss any of the wonderful traditions and events surrounding the season, even if she has to share her travels with the stoically silent Ted Black. Forced to spend time together, Noel is determined to infuse Christmas's magic and wonder into her travel partner, despite his grumpy disposition. After all, miracles still happen, especially at Christmas!

Noel Laurent is heading home to Hope City. She loves Christmas and the Christmas spirit lives in her. She runs into Ted (Bear) Black. They grew up in the same hometown and even went on one date, one that ended badly. They are forced to land in Kansas City due to bad weather. Thus setting them up for a shared ride back to Hope City. What could happen? Plenty especially when some Kings of Guardian happen to be in the hotel they spend some time in during the trip.
This was a fun holiday story that made me laugh out loud at times. Noel is aptly named as she loves Christmas. Her life hasn't been all roses but her attitude towards life is something we should all aspire to. She even turns a grump like Ted around. This Christmas story had it all including a happy ending a sneak peak at what is in store for Guardian.
Ted "Bear" Black is a man who eats, drinks and sleeps being a SEAL to the exclusion of most everything else in his life. Forced time off is not his idea of a good time but making the best of it means going home to see family. When his flight seat mate turns out to be an old friend from high school it sets off a chain of events that will forever alter his life. Noel Laurent is the antithesis of Bear's Grinch-like demeanor. She loves everything Christmas, sings along with all the cheesy yuletide songs, delights in gift giving, has a quick easy infectious laugh and a sparkle in her eyes. When Bear challenges her cheery Christmas disposition, Noel makes it her mission to make this formidable man smile, laugh and enjoy the holidays. Somewhere along the way these two fall in love and head towards a happy forever. It just doesn't get any better than that!
Noel is so excited. She is going home for Christmas. She can't believe it when she sees Ted Black. She had such a crush on him in high school. Their one date was a huge disaster.
Bear has asked Noel to ride with him after the plane they were on is down due to weather. Their rental breaks down and they end up in a small town.
The Kings are at the bed and breakfast they were staying at. There were some friendly competitions. Bear still can't believe Christian beat that hill.
Noel is really changing Bear's mind about a lot of things, especially Christmas.
Bear and his team are called back. Will Noel be waiting for him when he gets back?
A very good story with believable characters one of the better Christmas Books this year.

No potential triggers
There are no errors that I can recall
There are some sex scenes and some swearing
The characterisation is excellent, I liked both main characters and the cameo appearance from the Kings was well written.
I'm not a big fan of the Hope City series, but I did enjoy this book.
The plotline moved forward with personal discoveries and character development and it was genuinely engaging even though it was all about Christmas and the opposing views of the lead characters.
If you are a fan of romance I have no problem recommending the book.
The story seem like and adult fair tale. Two characters who could not have a more different outlook on life coming together, or back together if you include their disastrous first date. I kept waiting for the trust to come, and when it did it got me. From what I read her this is a good ending to this series. In the epilogue Kris Michaels give another hint to the upcoming Seige on Guardian upcoming mach 2022.
A fantastic addition to the multi author Hot SEAL series featuring Romeo Team, but as an added Christmas treat we also have crossovers with Hope City and Guardian Security...a true gift!
Absolutely brilliant book, fantastic characters, an amazing storyline and loved the HEA.
Great some of the King family made an appearance, now how to wait for The Seige!!
