Imagine you and your neighbors busting out of your boring day-to-day slog and thrust into a hollywood movie like plot-what would you do? This was a very successful light comedy- packed with comedians having a blast making an over the top - but not crude-comedy. It seamlessly combined subtle on the nose jokes about middle aged parents sending their daughter off to college with nostalgic monty- python special effects. The pace kept dancing along- neither the movie plot nor the actors took the movie too seriously or insulted the viewer to think it was meant to be realistic. Mantzoukas, Ferrell and Poehler have great comedy chemistry as they gamely poke fun at movie conventions and cliches. I laughed through out the whole movie!

A funny film with an all-star comedy cast. Every role is filled with a dynamite performer. But if I'm honest, plot-wise the impetus for the underground casino is that the parents lost their daughter's scholarship; as a millennial drowning in student debt, did these parents not fill out the FAFSA??

One of the funniest movies I have seen in a while, funniest all year by far. Ferrel and Pohler are a great duo and play well of each other, there is a good story behind all the nonsense and Kroll and Jason the Zook kill it in this one. I really like this one and you will too if you like this type of raunchy comedy.

Hilarious amazing duo Amy and Will make an amazing heartfelt comedy about a family willing to do literally anything for eachother. The cast line up for this film is PERFECT and unexpected! You couldn't ask for a better everyday comedy with a great story, music and endless relatable laughs.

If you liked cinematic classics like "Get Hard" and "Blades of Glory," then you're sure to have a rollicking good time with this one. On the other hand, if you have anything beyond a 3rd grader's sense of humor - anything at all - skip it. There is not one redeeming thing about this movie. Pure and total garbage.

... who have no idea how we're going to pay for our kid's college ed. Ferrel, Pohler, and Mantzoukas were spot on for lost Gen-Xers lost in the subougia.

Funny couples movie and we had a blast.
Definitely not a comedy for the whole family ( kids ).
A few things we didn't like and it wasn't needed but still a good movie.
