Love the colors and the story line. Too bad I had to cross out the word, “FART” as it was not the kind of humor I would like to see in a children’s book, nor did it really seem to belong with the rest of the story.

Rainbows and unicorns, two of my granddaughters favorite things. The colorful cover caught my eye and the price was great; however this taught me to read the reviews which I didn’t even think to look at on a children’s book. I don’t wish to encourage “potty talk”, we try to discourage it so I will not be gifting a 3 and 4 year old a book with the word fart in it. Disappointed in my purchase.

It's a nice book, but not as 'magical' as I was hoping it'd be. The only story takes place in a zoo. Title would be better as A Day at the Zoo. Mainly just the unicorn dodging ordinary nets and such with the animal sounding off. I also thought the pictures would be filled with pinks, purples, rainbows, and the like. But they are very dull and bland.
All in all, the book is very plain and not whimsical and cute like I thought it'd be. It's a good book just not what I thought it'd be.

Cute story, beautiful pictures, good length. There is 1 page I don't love seeing as I how I'm giving this as a gift to my 5 year olds friend who's parents I've never met. If you're good with the word fart it's fine.

Cute book but apparently was not proof ready. “I’ll be back to best your traps”. I read it as test your traps then looked at it and realized it said best. Seems like it was put together in a rush and not thought through. Wouldn’t buy again or recommend.

A beautiful children's hardcover book! Cover embossing with glitter embedded (does not run off). Cute engaging story with wonderfully colorful illustrations. I can already tell this will be a new favorite of my 4 year old granddaughter!!! Very pleased with my purchase.

This book was purchased for my preschool. With any book teachers are always looking for ones that will keep young beginning readers interested during story time. This book is brightly illustrated with a fast pace to try to capture a Unicorn. The length of the book is great especially for the price point. The font is big enough for early readers to easily point out beginning sight words or letters. The book can also be extended into a STEAM or STEM activity wit;h kids building their own "Unicorn traps". There is a somewhat hidden unicorn on all but two pages which I do wish it was on all to help further engage students in "I spy" the unicorn. On the last page there seems to me to be a typo in the very last sentence. I have reached out to Sourcebooks not sure if there will be reply. Overall great book.

Cute book

This is a cute book. I’m dying at the reviews complaining about the use of the word “fart” to each their own but fart doesn’t count as a bad word in my house. Also I’ve seen reviews of people complaining about a spelling error on one of the last pages. I disagree that an error was made since “I’ll be back to best your traps” does in fact make sense since the unicorn has bested them in all attempts to catch it.
Anyway the story is cute and my little ones enjoy it. For me the best part is the illustrations. My children love pointing at all the different animals on the pages. Very bright and colourful.
