How To Be A Jewish Son

On November 29, 1970, Susskind booked Mel Brooks, David Steinberg, George Segal, Stan Herman, Dan Greenburg, and Larry Goldberg for a panel entitled "How to be a Jewish Son," aka "My Son, the Success." Led by Brooks' manic brilliance, the show became an instant subject of conversation.

Funny but not the full show

I'm not sure if the full episode of David Susskind's "How to be a Jewish Son" is still available because this video is truncated. It's the same version you can find on Youtube. You should delete it from your selections 'til you find
the FULL version.

Poorly preserved part of a David Susskind Show episode

This isn't the entire episode -- just most of it. The film is in very poor shape with a lot of visual distortion.

Don't expect excellent quality audio/video. DO Expect EXCELLENT hilarious commentary by some of the comedy greats. Well worth the watch.

Eh, so where's the rest of the show already?
Always a pleasure to see Mel and David and George. The rest? Not so interesting.
