How Much 2: An Extreme Horror Novel (The Game) Kindle Edition
This is not a gimmick.
The Sequel To The Number One Bestseller "How Much To"
Having taken over the running of the "games", Nate thought he had a way of beating the system which meant the audience got the blood they were looking for, the people needing the money had a chance of winning it without hurting themselves, and the heads of the show were still getting the viewing figures they longed for. Nate was wrong.
Now Nate finds himself forced to play a new, darker version of "The Game" for the pleasure of those watching at home.
Feedback from BETA reads:
" I honestly have not a clue how you can come up with anything worse than what’s in this book
It’s the most disgusting thing I’ve ever read. And the ending was brilliant!" - Cat
"Holy **** dude! That whole ending scenario starting with *** ***, you ****. That was pure evil. You've taken the top spot from A Serbian Film. That was a **** hair away from being too ******* far. Bravo!" - Bryan
" I think the warning should stay, and is needed. Extreme horror is what you do, so extreme horror is what the reader gets.
I can imagine there may be some strong feelings from people who maybe haven't read your works before though! Am enjoying it up to this point. I need to brace myself mentally in order to continue though." - Melissa
"Holy hell. I knew to expect twisted, dark and taboo before opening the book, obviously. But with every book I read by you, I don’t know if I’m more impressed or shocked with how much more twisted it gets?!" - Kade

Be sure that this is your cup of tea and HEED THE WARNING ! ! ! !
In "How much......2" He picks up where he left off in the first book "How much to.....". Nate (from the first book) new employee was tasked with setting up his own game, when his supervisor Erica, watched it she was disappointed and instead of firing Nate she gave him a chance to "win" his job back. Win a second chance at his job or "quit". Nate, knowing what the games consisted on, he figured he could win, not only his job but the money as well. Nate joined the other players in the game and the questions began......
The questions started of "easy" enough and Nate was uncomfortable with them though he figured he'd be able to handle them. Byt the 10th and final question there was only Nate and one female player left. Nate won, be "defalt", he hadn't realized he had been set up, set up to win.
FAIR WARNING: Chapter 14 deals with the brutal death of the family dog by the owner (player of the game) . You ARE WARNED at the beginning of that chapter, not of what it entails but you'll know after the 3rd paragraph. You are able to skip that chapter and it takes nothing away from the book. I don't know how detailed it iwas since I skipped that chapter, lol.
Giving any more details would be giving away to many details. I csn say this though, I though, The first book was gross but I was able to get through it pretty easy. This story though, had my stomach turning quite a few times. The first time I started reading it I had to stop after the first few chapters, then I came back to it, wrestled through the first REALLY disgusting part, little did I expect how truly GROSS it would get the the further in to the game it would get. WIll it make me hesitant to read the rest of the series ? NO WAY ! ! WIll it make me think twice about reading more by Matt Shaw ? OOOOHHHH , HELL NO ! !
Matt Shaw has a "sick" (in the bestest way) mind and he comes up with the greatest horror stories I've ever read. I'm pretty new to his writings, only reading a few so far but with plenty in my library., I'm extremely happy that I found him & his books.
If this book is something you think you'd like, read it and judge for yourself.
Thank you for reading my review, I hope it hels

Ok,so if you’ve read the others then it is a clever way to keep it going and leading this series into ‘the game’ book series. This has moments of pure grim-ness and of a sad nature too, matt is the master of imagining the nastiest of scenarios and again doesn’t disappoint. Nasty as it was in places, the story flowed so well and was hard to put down cleverly continuing from the first book. Read at your own risk...but isn’t that generally the warning for any of ‘The Matt Shaws’ books??!!
I enjoy all of Matt Shaws work, I’ve read the first one (how much to) and that made me heave, so of course I got the second one, first few pages into it I had to put it down. But I carried on and read the whole book in one day. I really enjoyed it, it was sick and twisted and wrong on so many levels and fairly disturbing. but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Matt Shaw does it again amazing author!
It's a Bush tucker trial with added bits and the Chapter 14 hype....oh my what a let down.Chapter 15 was worse but still completely predictable.
I rarely write negative reviews but I felt I had too with this.Save your money,if you want well written explicit horror get The Groomer by Jon a than,it's excellent and genuinely disturbing.
