I want to know how much they paid these actors.
*Sybil Danning rips off her top*
Because I know these folks gotta have some serious acting chops in order to play that werewolf threesome scene...
*Sybil Danning rips off her top*
...and other moments equally as preposterous and get through even a single take without bursting out laughing.
*Sybil Danning rips off her top*
You will probably not like HOWLING II: YOUR SISTER IS A WEREWOLF...
*Sybil Danning rips off her top*
...but one thing's for sure:
*Sybil Danning rips off her top*
you will never, ever forget it.
*Sybil Danning rips off her top three more times*

Howling 2: Your Werewolf is a Witch and a Vampire!

This is my favorite of the Howling movies. It's so cheesy and ridiculous it's awesome. Christopher Lee and Reb Brown team up to fight werewolves... with garlic, sacred ear plugs and holy water!!! There are a lot of fun special effects here, as well as ample amounts of gore and nudity. I think Howling 2 might also break the record for "the most full moon shots in a single film." You see the moon over a dozen times at least. It's dumb! Sybil Danning's great in this flick as the oversexed werewolf priestess. She somehow maintained her sexiness even when the effects department glued a bunch of werewolf fur to her chest. The soundtrack's also great. The one song that gets played over and over again is very catchy (and VERY 80's). 5-stars all around!

Good but no obvious rating.

I had to watch this movie after hearing it was considered to be bad, I saw the first one years ago so I didn't know there was others in the series. I'd say it was a good film because the werewolves were more realistic and the transforming part aren't ridiculous or they don't appear to be computer edited. Stuff like the ears growing, hair getting furry though skin pores, seeing torsos have movement beneath that is like bones moving, and the snouts. The dog like noses were done in about three parts so it was slowing becoming attached with fangs and teeth when the final head was finished it was nice quality not like cheap latex but it was shiny like drool and sweat. That's important for scary wolf scenes. The story was more like D&D style where you travel in groups and bring other members skilled for fighting so it wasn't just a bunch of random people getting mauled and running to chase the werewolf and so they didn't die easily or with a sense of not being prepared. But I think for my preference in seeing movies I pass if there is lots of nudity that isn't really important to show or the scene isn't given enough time for the characters to bond before it's shown that gets to seem like it's trying too hard to get more audience to see it rather than to be interested with a regular adventure.

Greatest terrible movie ever
Verified purchase
The original Howling is still one of my all time favorite werewolf movies, ever. I remember, back in the 80’s, seeing this at a video store and couldn’t wait. Well....it’s marvelous in the total opposite way. Even the mighty Christopher Lee was said to feel terrible uncomfortable with the acting. Props are terrible, costumes are terrible, acting is terrible....but, in a Troll 2 way, it’s incredibly enjoyable. The greatest talent (other than Mr Lee) is the house band and the title song (which they play over and over and over). Sybil Danning adds a couple of ‘golden globes’ to the final mix, too. Overall, a hilariously terrible movie that looks great on Blu-ray. MST3K would have a field day with it.

This movie is cool

I really don't know why this film catches so much flack. True it's more of a comedy than a horror movie. In fact I laughed so hard in some places it really cheered up my day...I've got real bad depression. This movie has it all: Sybil Danning and Marsha Hunt, both half naked and smoking hot, werewolf threesomes and even orgies what more do you want for a few bucks? It's utter ridiculousness was no problem for me. Christopher Lee plays a good part in this and he's got a sense of humor or he'd have just walked off the set and not come back. It's towards the final battle that a strange sort of beauty enters the picture. Christopher Lee comes walking into Stirba's castle casting a spell of binding. His voice in those moments was so beautiful I didn't want him to ever stop. I made sure I got the DVD where Sybil Danning rips off her bodice 17 times during the credits. This is the one to get if you want to see that and I'm not spoiling it, there are extras during the breast bearing that up the ante on the humor. Thanks!

Christopher Lee, what were you thinking

Oh the horror, watching a Farrah Fawcett lookalike wannabe running in the woods in slow motion 😂! This was so so bad it was hilarious. Oh well I guess I’ll continue with the others..... Howling VI was just as bad. One question for you amazon prime, why do you have this ridiculous Howling series without the only decent one? The original movie.

Dumb as Hell but a lot of fun

What a beautiful world we live in. We get THE HOWLING II: YOUR SISTER IS A WEREWOLF in a high-definition restoration deluxe edition blu-ray. This is the kind of movie that you either love or you despise with every fiber of your being. I'm the former. It's so bizarre and bad that I loved every minute of it. I mean, where else are you gonna see Christopher Lee hanging out in a New Wave Club?

Well worth a purchase if you like silly bad horror films.

not a classic but a fun romp.

The first howling movie was a classic horror film. This one was a huge drop in quality from that one. That one was a serious and well made film, this one is a real b movie with a ton more silliness. It had a limited release and then went straight to video release. Still , it had a release somewhere , which the later installments didn't have. It's a fun romp and it was filmed in europe at least. At the time the commies still ran Romania , although in 1989 the Romanian dictator and his wife were shot to death by freedom fighters. This blu ray is the best this film has looked since the early 80's. This is no classic though , it is just a low budget werewolf movie but it is a fun one. WIth the awesome sybil danning stealing the show! A man runs into sexy werewolves in romania and then the wildness begins. The title song in this movie is a really cool song though. A true horror song that just rocks. That's a plus as well.
