Each story is just the right length to give you a snippet into that world. It doesn’t need to be any longer. Think of them as stories you’d tell around the campfire. I would say they’re not scary at all but some are creepy. They may be scary for kids but adults should be fine. Following the title, each story puts a spin on scary making the humans bad and the monsters good. Saying that, the stories are all unique and not predictable. Each one certainly has its own unique feel. Though I like some stories more than others, I would say every one has been excellent and fun to read. I wish more anthologies were put together this well.
