Hunted is an exciting continuation of a story I love! When I finish each book I feel sad and anxious for the next one and that is a mark of an excellent series. Zanetti weaves an enchanting story with Hunted that is sure to please paranormal romance lovers everywhere! I give Hunted by Rebecca Zanetti 5 stars! --Nikki Brandyberry Reviews
In Zanetti's entire series, she mixes up your emotions, especially with this novel. [The novels] are AMAZING! As always 5/5 stars a definite Good Choice for Reading! -- Good Choice Reading Reviews
The action-packed storyline is fast-paced as Conn claims the witch he is fated to mate with while betrayal leaves their relationship and their family and friends in peril. Sub-genre fans will enjoy Rebecca Zanetti's exciting novel as the vampire and the witch prove absence makes the heart (and other body parts) grow fonder. -- Harriet Klausner
If you have read Fate & Claimed. Hunted will not disappoint. There is a lots of action, lots of emotion and even some mile high sex *wiggles eyebrows* If you have not started Rebecca's Dark Protector's series. I would HIGHLY recommend you get started. -- Kelly at Books-N-Kisses

"That's Daire's bike," Moira said, grabbing a sleek silver helmet off the handle of a red Ducati and swinging her leg over the side. "Scratch her, and he'll kill you." She settled into place, flashing Conn a saucy grin. "Then I won't have to worry about it anymore."
Something thumped hard in Conn's chest. His mate straddled the bike like a natural . . . sleek and dangerous. Sexy as hell. She unclipped her hair and shook out her curls before tugging on the helmet, and he fought a groan. Hell, He fought the urge to yank her off and coax her to ride him instead.

I really liked Conn. He was all growlly and bossy and extremely protective of those he loved and cared for. Under no circumstances was he going to let something happen to Moira, and he was determined to finally bring his mate home.
Moria was a little stubborn at first, as have been all the female leads in this series. She had secrets and was dishonest by omission, but as the story progressed I understood why. Moira really did care about Conn, however she was scared of him trying to make her into something she wasn’t.
The Realm is still at war with the Kurjans and demons, and this storyline has continued from the first book throughout the series. I’m still intrigued by the ongoing Janie, Zane and Kalin plot. Katie and Jordan’s book is next, and I’m anxious to see how they will fix Katie’s problem since she’s been infected with the virus and still cannot shift.
Moria is a witch with lots of magic and she is trying to save the Nine which is a panel of witches that are there to protect the realm but they are thinking about going rogue. There are many different things that they can gang up with and the Vampires are not the only thing. They have been with the Vampires for many years but maybe it's time for a change. Moria is married to a Vampire named Connlan.
Connlan is the Warrior of the Realm. He has never been beaten and he has always survived but when Moria goes missing he will tear the Realm apart to find her. With him are his two brothers one who is king of the realm and the other just a fantastic fighter. They have to find Moria then they have to save her from a wicked Nine panel member. They don't have the magic on their side so the fight is uneven.
For starters, it is well written. Writing mechanics are good and the world building and story line remain consistent with the earlier books. There are some typos, not enough to affect the reader's enjoyment, but I expected better from a traditionally published book.
Characterization for both the protagonists and the antagonists is good. They are fleshed out, with enough back story, inner dialogue and dialogue to get a sense of who they are and what their motivations are. Because of the overarching storyline, the central and some supporting characters appear in every book. Each book has the emphasis on a different hero and heroine, however, and ones in this book are very likeable. Con, the hero, is alpha but less domineering with his mate than his brothers are with theirs. He was depicted as a man who loved his mate enough to sacrifice his own desires by releasing her to fulfill her potential and destiny. As well, he was depicted as a man who studied her craft, not only for his own political agenda, but to become an understanding and supportive part of her life. He was confident enough in himself that he took pride in his mates' abilities, even when she bested him. Moira, the heroine, was very young and inexperienced when mated and is conflicted as a result. She is very strong, confident and decisive when it comes to her craft and her duties as a witch. However, when it comes to personal relationships, especially with her mate, she is extremely insecure, indecisive and she constantly second-guesses herself. The author portrayed them perfectly for the situation in which she placed them, and it made for a strong and satisfying romantic component of the the book.
The pace was fairly brisk and even. The author created enough suspense and tension, that the suspense component balanced the romance. The story line was strong and very engaging. I couldn't put the book down and stayed up until the wee hours to finish it.
My only complaint is the amount of sex. I think this book had less of a ratio of sex to story than the others, but it was still too much for my tastes. The book was definitely not erotica and the sex scenes were well done. Most readers of paranormal romances would likely be very happy with this aspect of the book. My personal preference is for less sex and more story in my romance books. No matter how well written sex scenes are, I find that if there are too many or they are too long, they slow down the story and, frankly, they get boring fast.
I recommend this book and the series. I've read the next two books since I finished this one, and the quality remains consistent and good. I've read several paranormal romance series, and well there are some I liked more than this one, it ranks highly on my scale.

If you thought Talen was possessive, manipulative, and mildly emotionally abusive then just wait until you get a load of his brother, Conn.
Connlan accidentally mated a witch, Moira, during a one night stand, and she had the essentially get a restraining order to make him leave her alone for a century. But then that order ran out, so off he goes to Ireland to force her to be with him.
A classic case of Stockholm syndrome with non of those pesky bruises, thankfully.
There is a fine line between a dominant man who knows what he wants and is determined to get it, and someone who belittles and manipulates to get his own way. Unfortunately, the writing here tips the balance to the more ominous side of the scale.
The reason I give this book a generous 3 stars is because I am generally a fan of the rest of the series. The first book, Talen and Cara, has similar abusive themes. Though not as bad as this one does. However, the rest of the books tiptoe that fine line much more successfully. In fact, as I am now reading the 6th book, it is clear to see how Zanetti has learned and expanded as a writer in the way she portrays these relationships.
I recommend reading this book so you can quickly get on to the next one.
This book was about Moira a witch and Connlan the vampire the ultimate warrior.
Conn had mated with Moira one hundred years ago but instead of claiming his mate he left her for 100 years so she could learn all her skills to become the witch she needed to be.
What was great about this story is them coming together and learning about each other and both having to make compromises to make their relationship work.
This series is one of the few PNR that really has a great story that continues to build with each new book, the characters are totally lovable.
I really hope that we will not have to wait too long for the next book, cause this series has me chomping at the bit.
The characters are all great and fully dimensional, moira is a kick ass witch who is an enforcer who doesn't want connlan to come for her yet as the witches are having problems of there own and she doesn't have the time to deal with him but if course connlan who is a stubborn alpha male doesn't agree with her and travels to Ireland anyway to finally claim her.
The story is pretty fast paced, you learn more about the witches, a bit more about the demons and a bit less about the kurjans, the story is full of kick ass action and romance woven throughout that keeps you entertained, you are kept on the edge of your seat waiting to find out who the bad guys are and it is unexpected when it comes.
You find out more about what the author may be planning for the future of the series with janie and her dream with kalin and zane.
Overall this is a good read better than the previous book, I read it pretty quickly, I wouldn't say I felt sucked into the story but it held my interest and why I gave 4*, I do plan on reading the next installment.
This book has it all, magic, action, passion, suffering and much much more.
Great story with twists and turns, who is betraying the Realm and who is trying to take over the witches council?
Wonderful characterisation with strong, dominant, alphas, handsome and charismatic, they are balanced by the heroines who are powerful, forces to be reckoned with and with plenty of attitude.
Clever women, who refuse to be steamrolled by their mate's protective instincts, they fight love but passionate sexy love wins out.
If you don't buy this book it is your loss....follow the series and escape to another world, you won't be disappointed.
