Wireless DOES NOT WORK - major lag, unusable, SLOW support

Paid $100 extra for the wireless model and this turned out to be a big mistake. The VZ-X creates/broadcasts its own wireless network to which you can connect your Apple TV or iPad. But sometimes our 4K Apple TV would fail to connect, and sometimes it would connect but then be so laggy that it was unusable. The image would freeze completely for seconds at a time and frequently for minutes on end. Sometimes the network connection would “break” and the Apple TV would not reconnect.
The VZ-X and the Apple TV 4K were 15 feet apart.
The day we opened the box, I tested the wireless feature and it worked perfectly for about 15 minutes. This was a test run. Three days later my wife held live watercolor class and the wireless feature was an absolute nightmare.
I do not recommend the VZ-X. We will be trying to return this model and downgrade for the cheaper HDMI only version.
Update: Ipevo tech support has responded on average within 24 hours, but only via email, so it's frustrating trying to troubleshoot this. They respond with some suggestions one day later, then I respond with the results to their steps, and then another day goes by before I get another response. So far 2 emails from them and still no progress resolving the problem. We will see. I'm ready to send it back.
