As A Scrat Lover, This is The Best Five Bucks My Grown Self has spent in a while.
Thanks to the reviewers who tried to explain this rather complicated compilation.
Even though Scrat graces the cover, it's not clear & really didn't want an Ice Age Holiday movie.
If I'm being completely transparent, I watch Ice Age for Scrat. I. Love. Scrat.

So here's the (Rough) Simplified Breakdown of the 72 min feature.
It's Saturday Morning Cartoon Format. Perfect for child-like attention spans.
~ 20 min Ice Age Easter Feature
~ 20 min Scrat including a confusing Highlight reel Then, about a 5 Scrat Shorts
~ 20 min Ice Age Highlight Reel of Main & Ancillary Characters taking you through the films
~ 10 min of Animators Interviewed to explain Creation of Scrat & Scratte (love interest)
~ 2 min Credits

The 10 min Bonus Feature with Animators is the closest you will get to full Love Storyline.
You think you're getting it at the end of the shorts but it's just a teaser.

Why does this compilation gets 4 stars when anything Scrat is Priceless?
The Scrat Highlight reel is choppy & incomplete.
It has great funny moments but, if you know the movies, you know the set-up & feel a bit robbed.
If you don't know the movies, mashing clips together like baby food, again, robs the comedy.

The movie quickly redeems itself with Full Scrat Shorts from previous movies.
Scrat in Space. Scrat in the Time Machine. Scrat on the Pile of Acorns that starts the Continental Divide.
This is what made it worth 5 bucks. The great Scrat-ories to watch again & again.
Because there is nothing that Scrat can't make better with his happy squeaks & acorn determination.

The World Needs More Scrat.

Misleading title

I didn't 't really like this part of Ice Age - The Great Egg-Scapade.

At first, title is misleading. Because you would think paying $4.99 just for Easter Egg story, it's all there is to it. It's not. The story about Easter Eggs is just about 20 min long. That's all.

After that it's all about the Scratt, the squirrel. And mostly are repeats from all previous Ice Age parts.

At the end you get to watch the story behind the scenes how this funny and dumb squirrel was created and lived through all the parts of Ice Age.

I don't really think it deserves this price of $4.99. While the whole movie costs $1 less and is more interesting.
The title should be definitely renamed something like "Easter Egg story and Extras". So it won't be misleading.

Don't purchase unless you look closely!

Don't be fooled!!!! You're paying for a 20min Egg movie, and an hour of Scrats antics. I wouldn't have spent $5 for a 20min film, had it been explained better. The portion is cute, don't get me wrong. But false advertisement.

This is very misleading. The actual movie cannot be more than 20-30 minutes and the rest of the movie is just fillers. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Save your money- not at all worth more than a couple dollars. What a joke. I'm complaining and we only paid $4. It's not long enough to be called a movie, price has even gone up this week to $5.99. 🙄 Crazy....

My youngest is hooked on Ice Age anything. This is a shorter little movie with great Scrat shorts after the movie. Very fun.
